An oasis close to Morogorro

Stayed as part of a Christian group at the retreat house, which are nice ensuites as per photos, with a mix of western & Asian toilets. The hosts and the local ladies employed there are very friendly Everywhere is clean and well maintained. There are mosquito nets for the beds too, as with hot water and easy access to drinking water and cheap service for laundry to be hand-washed & folded. Food served are nice, with a mix of bread, chapatti, spreads, eggs for breakfast and a mixed of various western (e.g. spaghetti, lasagna) & Tanzania (coconut rice, beans, spinach, fried chicken/fish). Wifi also available for low bandwith usage at the retreat house.

Blissful retreat

For 2.5 weeks I had a blissful experience here. I stayed in one of the ensuite twin rooms and it exceeded my expectations. There was hot water, comfy beds, mosquito net, communal area and the most breath-taking views. The team at Sanga Sanga are the friendliest and most hospitable people I have ever encountered. They were so accommodating to our needs and so very gracious. Highly recommend this place to detach yourself from your world to reflect and restore your soul. And if you are lucky enough to stay here, make sure you look up at the beautiful night sky and do some star-gazing!

Clean Campsite, Friendly Staff and Breathtaking views

I stayed at Sanga Sanga for about 2 and a half weeks in one of the bandas and had the most amazing time there. The banda I stayed in (banda 3) was very clean, with full mosquito netting, clean water provided in the room and a very short walk to the toilets nearby. There was hot water for showers and the rooms were cleaned very regularly. The food at Sanga Sanga was always very delicious (a mix of Western and local Tanzanian cuisine). Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating of all the requests we provided. The view from the campsite of the surroundings was breathtaking. The campsite overlooks mountains and at night there is a beautiful clear view of the stars. I would highly recommend staying here for a couple of nights!

Amazing experience

We had an amazing experience. The bandas are clean, tidy, hot water, enough space for some peace of mind. There are chicken and farmlands. Breathtaking view of the Morogoro Mountains and plateau. Great food and great hosts! There are no downsides to this place. If you need to disconnect from the business of life for a while this is your place to stay.
