I am trying to contact the owner but there is no contact information I have some questions for them about accomidation and what us available to us in the next year so I can do some planning with our family
Not being an RV'er..I was a little hesitant to stay at a Trailer Park..you see, I'm kind of a hotel guy..but, what a great experience it was..friendly people, attentive onsite managers, very clean public areas and great pool area.I stayed in the Eagle One trailer near the entrance to the park..what I thought was going to be a noisy stay turned out to be a very quiet, tranquil stay..quieter than some of the hotels in Guayabitos!!! Pierre and Chantall are the Resident Managers and were always around the property talking to guests and helping folks out find there way around La Penita and Guayabitos..Pierre and Eduardo(their maintenence/gardener were on-the-spot for fixing a small leak I had underneath my toilet..I'm sure it's a real plus for RV'ers to have this fine couple around..considering that the majority of RV'ers that were there were French-Canadian..and they speak French,Spanish and English.. The pool was clean and tranquil..not too many people using it..and I liked the lush tropical plants that surround the pool area and seating area. Although I did not use the Laundry Facilities I did check them out..and found it clean and in good-working order. My hookups..were all new, and easily accessible..I had a brand new, outside shower and toilet..that me and my girlfriend could use with plenty of hot water...no shortage of water..and no shortage of power.. I liked the fact that the entire property is surrounded by high walls..with a secured, keyed entrance only for guests were available..besides, Eduardo,Pierre and Chantall..live on-site and keep a pretty good eye on everyone.. SolTierra RV Park..is situated right in the middle of the town..on the beach side..so you have easy access to the Tianguis(Flea Market)..a block or two away..it's five blocks to hit the Main Avenida..and two blocks away to go across the Cable Bridge (called the Bridge of Life, I think) to get to Guayabitos. We took our Mountain Bikes and had plenty of great exploring to do..just around La Penita..and went up as far as the Cemetary to the North where there is a small beach..and then finished up at Tiki's Place on the Beach..right at the very end of the Avenida..and got a couple of cold drinks..to finish up our big Bike Adventure.. If you're hankering for an Espresso..don't forget to check out Chante'..coffee shop..it's two blocks towards the beach and a block over..great espressos, mochas and desserts.. All in all a great experience..I would definitely come back again..two thumbs up!!…
