Tempat menginap dinilai berdasarkan skala 0-100. Semakin tinggi nilai, semakin mudah bagi wisatawan untuk menemukan restoran dan hal yang dapat dilakukan terdekat.
We spent 5 nights here and we both agree it was perfect even though we had the smallest villa we were treated like royalty.
Nothing was too much trouble for our butler Andy who cooked our breakfast and generally looked after us. His smile and cheerfulness every morning went a long way.
The rest of the staff were superb from a turn down service and lighting the mosquito burners to speeding off after my phone was left in the Grab taxi.
The room was superb and the sun-beds were almost always in full sunshine all day. A lively private pool for a dip. ❤️
We had 2 massages each during our stay at the spa within the hotel and I would throughly recommend you make the most of this too!
At first I was worried about the location as I have stayed closer to the centre of Seminyak before however it took 20 mins walk down the beach ( also 5 mins away) and the beach bars for sunset are much more reasonable than those nearer the main town. It’s 2£ in a grab to get back.
Beach at sunset in Seminyak is a must BTW.
We were sad to leave this morning but 100% we will be back. I looked at the 1 and 2 bed villas this morning too and they are amazing!

Wat op het eerste zicht een mooi verblijf oogde, was al na enkele minuten een pak minder... Onze kleine villa was totaal niet onderhouden en was erg vuil. Een vuile toiletbril, bloed(?)vlekken op de buitentegels, een erg grote kakkerlak op de kast, overal de verf afgeschilferd, spleten in deuren en ramen, een muskietennet dat niet helemaal rond het bed ging,... Niet de luxe die we verwachtten op basis van de reviews dus. Toen we het meldden aan de receptie stond er nog geen halfuur later een heel team om de vermeldde mankementen op te lossen. Tegels werden gepoetst en vervangen, de wc-bril werd vergangen, er werd plots heel grondig gepoetst, er werd geschilderd. 2u later was het al een heel ander zicht. Daarnaast was het ontbijt echt ondermaats. De omelet en de pannenkoek waren lekker, maar het fruit was al aan het rotten, de koffiekoeken smaakten niet vers, de koffie was opgelost poeder in water. Erg ontgoochelend allemaal. Wel een pluim voor de behulpzaamheid van Shiny en de anderen die hielpen met het ontbijt klaar te maken. Mochten de receptionisten nu ook eens van die aard zijn.
Vergane glorie, heel ontgoocheld over ons verblijf hier... zonde van de tijd en het geld.

Dear Woutv2015, First of all, we apologize for not granting your upgrade request and late check-out which might have encouraged you to write unpleasant reviews. We always gave our respected guests free late check-out if we were available. Otherwise, they can leave the luggage with us until your departure time to the airport. We were so disappointed when you said you found a big cockroach without any proof. Pest control is one of our main concerns in our villas and we always take it seriously. My partner and I have been avoiding international travel since Covid lockdowns in 2020, as both of us haven't caught Covid yet.
Our prompt came about because our flight voucher from 2020 was about to expire, so we decided a week in Bali would be a nice little break.
With both of us still Covid shy we wanted to stay quite separate from other people, so staying in an hotel with a buffet breakfast type arrangement, amongst many other people wasn't for us.
We decided to go with a private villa option and came across the Villa Bali Asri in Batubelig and loved the images online. Some of the reviews were negative, more on those later, but on the whole most people really enjoyed their stay at Villa Bali Asri. Having our breakfast cooked personally for us in our own villa every day was a fantastic bonus!
The photos online are exactly what you get! Your own little slice of paradise in a tropical setting. I've added photos of villa number 4, for you to check out yourself. Some of the negative reviewers talk about gecko's, lizards and bugs being in and around the villa. Of course they are! When staying in a villa with its own garden and pool area, on a tropical island, you will have critters running around, so expect them, leave them to their own space, cover your food and keep it in the fridge and you can enjoy your holiday. The only way you can avoid these gecko's etc is to stay in an hotel with hermetically sealed and heavily air-conditioned rooms - that's not what we want when in a tropical paradise!
Our breakfast was personally made by our own butler, not just a chef/cook who came in each morning then left. We were very lucky and ended up with a very lovely man called Andy, who looked after us like we were royalty!
Andy not only cooked whatever we wanted each day for breakfast, he also tidied up, making our bed, giving us clean towels, and whatever else we needed for the villa each day.
On top of that, he gave us good advice for local places to eat, went to the chemist to buy me some antiseptic cream after I'd scraped my leg after falling over on an uneven footpath out on the main road. He did so many other things for us, too many to list, but they all added up to us feeling so well cared for. He did everything with an enormous smile on his face and was just so lovely to have around every morning.
I can't praise Andy enough. All the other staff we came across were lovely also, but we didn't spend as much time with them, so didn't get to know them as well as we did Andy.
Part of the perks of staying a certain number of days was a massage each for my partner, Mark and I. The spa at the villas might be small, situated right next to the reception area at the start of the villa's, but that didn't stop the staff there from giving us a lovely traditional massage that really hit the spot! We enjoyed it so much we booked another one.
We ended up extending our stay by another day and the manager was very accommodating. He even extended our check out time because we weren't flying until later in the afternoon, which was very nice of him and something we hadn't expected.
We loved the peace, the private pool and the comforts of the villa so much we spent most of our days lazing around, staying put. But when we did feel like going out, the beach is only a short walk away, the main road is also quite close and it is full of restaurants, mini marts, touristy shops, money changers - everything you could need. Another negative review mentioned there was nothing nearby, which really puzzled us, given how close every thing is. You are a short walking distance from everything here - from cheap, local restaurants to the more expensive beach clubs like Mari Beach Club and Cafe Del Mar.
The road the villa's are set back from is quite a busy one, with no footpaths, so walking along here is a bit scary, but the local drivers are great at going around you. I wasn't very comfortable doing this though, so we used Google Maps and found a back way that ran parallel to the main street around the corner (the one with all the shops etc that I mentioned above) and then a walkway that went between local houses, through a gate and then you pop out onto the main road. This made it a lot easier for getting to the main road and I felt a lot safer walking this way.
There are some great beach bars down at the closest beach, one, which ended being our favourite because it was run by 3 generations of the one family, who couldn't do enough for us, was Warung Pantai, right next to the more popular reggae bar, but just as good and a lot cheaper! The sunset photo I've taken was sitting at the bar overlooking the beach at Warung Pantai.
We will definitely be staying here again next time we come to Bali, and hope that we have Andy as our butler again!
I hope my description of the villa's was helpful, and if you decide to stay at Villa Bali Asri you have as lovely a stay as we did.

Service au top! Très belle villa (1 chambre) avec jolie piscine et salle de bain en extérieur ! Propreté rien à redire et service de chambre parfait (merci Andy!) Possibilité de louer un scooter pour 5€ environ par jour directement à l’hôtel, massage de qualité également ! Quant à la localisation idéalement situé à la sortie de Canggu en direction de Seminyak et plage accessible à pied. J’y retournerai avec plaisir!

The warm, friendly and welcoming staff made our stay extremely relaxing and enjoyable. The Villa was large airy and very comfortable filled with art which we appreciated. Very private and surrounding gardens stunning. Villa 5/5 - staff 10/5 X THANK-YOU

Very important question! The deluxe ones are all day sun. You might need to chase it a little by moving your sun beds throughout the day, but you’ll always get sun and the pool will have partial shade which is perfect to cool off.

Plunge Pool is the smallest unit we have. Unfortunately, there is no bathtub in the bathroom, yet we provide a hot and cold shower.
