The Orenco has amazing executive suites with lovely patios, and one of those proved to be a restful place to relax for multi-week stays while house hunting in the Orenco Station area the summer of 2021. I worked remotely in comfort over the hotel's wifi during the weekdays, and in the evening, would take my dog for a walk around the park and surrounding neighborhood just beyond the doorstep. Orenco Station Grill a short walk down the block has great cocktails (Pomegranate Margarita- yum), delicious appetizers and entrees with outdoor seating often available. The Hillsboro Farmers Market on Sundays is a few doors down and around the corner, so an easy walk and browse opportunity. The boutique hotel's owners are meticulous in their attention to detail, with a generous gift certificate for a unique and delicious breakfast nearby, and a small sofa and a welcome basket bottle of wine with which to relax in the evening. They're good people too, helping to accommodate us even as their rooms filled up, ensuring we had a place to return to as our house-hunting extended longer than we had planned. Am so grateful to have stayed in this wonderful hotel during this time.…

I love quaint boutique hotels and the nice location and quaint brown stone building of the Orenco was very compelling. The hotel is clean and several nice restaurants within walking distance. However after my stay, I don't think I will return. Coming from San Francisco & NYC I don't have issues with small rooms as long as the space is organized efficiency and well appointed. Unfortunately at Orenco, the room is fitted with worst platform bed. The bed has 4 inches of protruding bed frame surrounding the mattress so you would hit the bed frame when walking around it. ( see attached picture). I bruised my shins so badly that it was swollen on day 1 and bruised blue the next day. The most disturbing thing is that I am petite and athletic, so imagine how a heavier and elderly person would hurt him/herself worst. After the fact,I searched & read several other reviews on various booking sites and the same issue was brought up by others. Wish I had found & read these reviews before booking.…

The Orenco is the definition of comfort! Every detail of a guest’s needs are met from the bed to the bathroom. Continental breakfast around the clock and privacy at it’s best. This quality ranks as a five star hotel in my book. Restaurants and market within walking distance add to the charm making this the perfect choice for the Hillsboro area. Thank you for your care during my 3 day 2 nights stay.

My husband and I booked Jacuzzi room C4 for the night before and night of our wedding at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in October. The staff were super helpful with all of my questions about the space, and they allowed us to use their meeting room for the groom and groomsmen to get ready- so that way our photographer could switch between the men in the meeting space, and the women who were getting ready in our hotel room. They were so warm, friendly and accommodating to all of our requests and they even left a cute ‘just married’ sign on our room door to surprise us when we returned from our wedding. The room is great, well decorated, very spacious with a huge bathroom and walk in closet. The bed was very comfortable, and I am really picky about beds so that is saying a lot coming from me. They have several different breakfast options like fruit, granola bars, bagels and cream cheese, etc, which we were thankful they had available. There is no microwave in the room, but there is one available downstairs in the main lobby. Overall we would absolutely recommend the Orenco to anyone, especially if you are getting married at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse and are looking for an awesome place to stay for your wedding. We can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our stay great :)…
