Nice hotel. Pleasant staff. Expected it to be closer to Pier Park. Decided to spend the night here to get a full first day on the beach, condo started the following day. For the price ($250ish) I would probably opt to stay outside the beach area. Decent gym. Nothing special about the hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by.
The room was dirty and something sticky was on the door. The moldy smell gave me a headache. Other than that it was an ok place since it seemed a bit newer. I could see staying here again only if there were no other options.
Great room with a bit of extra space as a "suite". A kitchenette was handy to store basics and make coffee. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone wore masks which made for a Covid friendly experience. Accommodated my furbaby too! Will definitely stay here again!
Hotel was VERY clean and was constantly being cleaned the entire stay. Hotel was in good shape as it is pretty new. The location was pretty far from the "pier" but was close enough to a breakfast place etc. If you think you are walking to a pier, be prepared, it is a fairly long walk. We knew this going in, but the name might make some think they are going to be near the pier, not so much! The staff was great, the hotel was in great shape and all in all a great stay, dinged one star for the name!
Normally I would not stay in a candlewood suites because they tend to be sketchy but this one was actually nice probably because it is brand new. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The water pressure is not very good in the shower and the water does not get very hot. There is a great space in the hotel for working. The hotel is a short drive to the beach and also very close to pier Park with a lot of restaurants and shopping. Free coffee is offered in the morning but no breakfast. They have several items for purchase though. I would not stay here for a vacation but it is very accommodating for a work trip. I would stay here again.
