I stayed here few years ago in this quite old hotel but in very good area. it s close to Alun alun bandung, Jogya mall, goverment office, Banks etc. just don't expect luxury here. sleeping bed quality is poor, it s uncomfortable. Air condition not cooling well and noisy. The hotel need total renovation.

When traveling through Java, we planned a stop in Bandung. Unfortunately for us we would arrive late in the evening, so there was no time to look for a decent hotel. All the hotels that were bookable through the internet and booking agency's were full (local holidays) except Dewi Sartika. They advertised on Agoda.com with a 50% discount meaning a price of 45,- a night for a room with a hot shower which is not exactly cheap by Indonesian standards. The comments on Agoda were far from positive, but we had no other option and booked.
After a late arrival we checked in to the hotel and a man took us to our room. The first thing the man did was spray a truckload of air freshener into the bathroom. Not without reason we would soon discover...
The room was dirty and ridden with ants. The shower was cold and after the air freshener dissipated there was a stench reminding us of an open sewer. After we found bloodstains in the sheets we decided to sleep in our sleeping bags and check out at 7:00am. After that we spend a little bit more money on a nearby hotel that is actually good. Best decision ever..

We booked this place when we bought a pbd voucher. The hotel was 3 hours drive from the airport, a very long, dangerous drive! The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so the only thing to do there is lie by the pool and have a massage. Great place to recouperate from anything but that's it. We booked 5 nights and stayed for 2 before moving to town. The restaurant did great food and was well priced, the massage lady was fantastic and pool great. The villas were rather run down, huge cracks in the walls and the floors were dirty on arrival. The staff were lovely and attentive to our needs. They were building some studio apartments nextdoor to us and the banging would start early in the morning. Our front terrace was the cut through for the workers so always someone walking past us. They welcomed me with a lovely birthday pancake on our arrival! very sweet. We wouldn't return to this time share resort as it's just too far away from anywhere but would recommend for couples needing complete peace and quiet.

I stayed at this hotel from the 24-27 Feb 2010 with 4 other friends. We booked two rooms and opted to have an extra bed included in one room where three of us will be staying. The rooms are really small, unfortunately. Although we paid an extra IDR 50,000 for the additional bed but we never got it because there was simply no place to put the additional bed. We still had to pay the additional despite not having the extra bed.
One of the 2 rooms had on overpowering musty smell. We opted to get rooms with fan but the fan turned out to be an exhaust fan attached to the wall of the room. The bathroom floor looked like it had not been scrubbed in a long time. Both the rooms were really small and there was hardly any space for our luggage. The rooms came with hot water but it's only from 8am-12pm and again from 5pm-9pm. It was tough for us because we were out most of the time and only got back late after 10pm. Most of the time, we ended up taking cold showers because of the restrictive hot water timings.
The rooms come with complimentary breakfast but that turned out to be the same fried rice that we had right from the first day of our stay. So if you don't mind eating the same thing over and over again, then probably this hotel will do for you. There was no other breakfast option but the fried rice.
The beds in the room fit exactly for two persons. After one night I felt the bed sink in the middle and that gave me a bad backache for the rest of my stay. The rooms that come with fan gets really stuffy and we had to leave the window open during the night, although it wasn't really safe as anyone could have just slipped their hand though the window and open the door from the inside.
The hotel staff are friendly but they didn't do anything concerning the additional bed that we paid for but never got no thanks to the really small room. We requested the receptionist to book us 2 Blue Bird taxis to take us to the airport on the day of our departure but they procrastinated and at the end there was no taxi available and we just had to flag down one from the road side.
We chose the hotel because of it's location. It's located very close to Alun Alun and the Great Mosque of Bandung. It was also walking distance to Pasar Baru. However, due to it's location right in the center of town, we could hear the traffic sounds right in our hotel room. There is a supermarket in a shopping mall just 50 meters from the hotel. However, we didnt feel safe to walk out of the hotel at night as the area looked seedy after nightfall.
You can take the local 'angkut' easily from the hotel to places like Chihampelas Walk, Rumah Mode and even to Dago, though you may need to change 'angkut' from one place to another.
The best aspect of this hotel is that it's located in a central location. Unfortunately, there isn't much that I can say about this hotel except that this is one place I'd stay in if there were no other places available.
