We were booked to stay at Mua Tala Hotel in November 2022, but while in Manila we contracted Covid so we were unable to travel to El Nido. The resort was very understanding and handled the situation with grace and professionalism. I travel to the Philippines a bit for work, so I will ensure I stay at Mua Tala Hotel when I next get the chance. Thank you :-)

Where do I start with this sh*t show? Visited the bar and restaurant for some food, ordered food down beside the the beach front and decided we’d go up to the food area to get some shade where I was attacked by there resort dog and was then bit on the foot was then told dog was vaccinated but then said could be inactive so the hotel took me up to there local clinic as apparently ‘hospital was closed’? Where I was going to get a booster to prevent any diseases. The doctor then proceeded to try was my foot in a sink full of dirty needles where he then pulled out one that was well used and old where he thought he was away to give me a booster with it I told him absolutely f***ing not as I don’t want to contract hep or hiv also so left returned back to the hotel where they tried to bill me for my food that I ordered that was stone cold where they were swiftly told to f*** right off where I had to pull my hand back from cracking the manager in the chin for being so cheeky and asking me in the first place. Ruined the rest of my holiday as I’m now panicking thinking I could possibly have something like rabies. Will not be returning to this absolute joke of establishment.…

Overall it looks really nice, well appointed rooms; great view (but we never saw the much advertised great sunset view in that area even on the sunny days); staff helpful especially housekeeper Phoebe. # There were 84 steps to our Penthouse and about 74 to our Queen room below the PH. # Water in front of the hotel is good, swimmable but a bit rocky, although a few steps away in front of Marimeg meg is better and Vanilla Beach is just a few more steps away. # Free BF is ok, tried a few other things on the menu and they were just ok, nothing to rave about. Mitch at the desk helped arrange for our private tour for P26,000 for the 5 of us, +P300/Kayak+ snorkel equipment fees. Altho quite pricey, we picked the boat because it said it had ‘2 bathrooms’! Unfortunately the bathroom/toilet was basically a hole in the enclosure. Not sure where that hole led to! Hopefully, not into the water. Food/buffet was a disappointment as well. I was given lots of choices on what we wanted and were promised practically a local feast. I did ask for Buko, Sprite/7 Up, Mangoes, Sea grapes but got none of that. We got a nice grilled tuna, good pancit, 3 small crabs, a handful of shrimps, mussels, red egg with tomatoes, watermelon, pineapple, Coke. The guide and helpers were very helpful and paddled our kayaks but the guide was more focused on how & when they will get paid (I booked through the hotel and thought it would be charged to the room and then was told I had to pay cash!). I said I didn’t have enough cash so they said they would bring me to the bank in town but I have to find my way back to the hotel on my own! At night!…

Chambre confortable, bien équipée (mini bar, sèche-cheveux, kit dentaire, gel douche, shampooing et après shampooing, peignoir, tongs) et joliment décorée avec une belle vue face à la mer. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux. Cependant la piscine est sale et mal entretenue, la wifi est quasi inexistante, le personnel (principalement les femmes) laisse à désirer (très peu réactifs et peu chaleureux face à des sollicitations simples), lenteur pour être servis au restaurant. Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Vous pouvez trouver bien mieux pour un prix avoisinant les 100 - 130 euros sur El Nido.

We went there for lunch , the place is very beautiful but it's really a shame the service , staff is unprepared , they don't know what they are serving . Our food took more than hour to be served , salad and pizza ....average quality and high prices ..won't come back
