Abbiamo soggiornato all homestay di Manaek 3 notti dal 2 al 5 luglio 2024. la camera matrimoniale ha una bella vista sui campi di riso, è essenziale e pulita. Il bagno è ampio e confortevole. Le 5 stelle vanno all'host che ha sempre preparato ottime colazioni e ottime cene, ogni giorno diverse. Ci ha trattato sempre con grande gentilezza e disponibilità. Super consigliato

Meilleur rapport qualité prix , vous serez très bien accueillis et surtout très bien orientés pour les visites et les guides, indispensable pour profiter pleinement du pays toraja. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et très propres . Le cadre est superbe entourés de rizières et à proximité du centre ville. Tout est fait maison avec des pancake bananes cannelles délicieux pour le petit déjeuner n’hésitez pas si vous passer par Rantepao .

Tips Kamar:Louer un scooter pour profiter pleinement de la région

This is a homestay in the best possible interpretation (in our opinion)! The family has converted their traditional farmhouse into a nice little boutique hotel with a few rooms - all have big windows to enjoy the beautiful views across the rice fields and mountains. On the yard you have the typcial traditional houses to look at, while the rooms are in a modern building with all the comfort you need (own bathroom, wifi, shared fridge, comfortable beds etc.). Breakfast and dinner is served at separate tables in a shared area or on covered balconies. The food was always delicous and freshly cooked, the host ... always asked for our preferences and even our sometimes picky son found enough nice options to eat (just a simple thing like serving the components of a meal on separate plates can do magic). Every morning there was a different fresh fruit juice to enjoy, the staff was all very friendly and they all speak very good English. They were always around if we needed them, could recommend a wonderful guide (Mr. Anis) who we booked for 2 days to take us around the area, did our laundry before we moved on and overall you still have a maximum of privacy around the house. The place is a bit outside of central Rantepao, so you will need some transport to get here, but either you are travelling with a driver or you can get a taxi. Not an issue for us, as we were away most of the day to explore the area and were happy to return to our relaxing "home" in the evenings. Sadly, we were the only guests during most of our stay, but we really hope this was just a coincidence, as this place deserves to be discovered and visited!

We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay. Rooms are cosy and clean, there is hot sower, working wifi, nice breakfasts and the dinners are just delicious! They also propose a guide, "John", who is very nice! We highly recommend everyone to stay there!

One of the best place we stayed at in Sulawesi. Manae, our host at Rura Raya is so welcoming and she will make sure you are well fed. We stayed 5 nights with her and we felt so right at home. You will wake up to a view of the padi fields, mountains and Tongkonan. Tongkonan Lyon is well known around there, I was told that the Tongkonan with the buffalo horns are old, well you can tell from its roof. But we didn't stay at the traditional house, we stayed at a building adjacent to the Tongkonan. There's wifi, there's a fridge, clean room with Balcony and huge window, and clean bathroom. It's easy to get around Rantepao on a bike if you're confident. We chose Rura Raya exactly because of its local feel and its location. What surprised us was how good the food is! Manae accommodated our request of vegetarian meal (breakfast and dinner). She even made sure we had something different every night. My partner doesn't eat egg yolk so she made an egg-white omelette for him. It's the personal touch that impressed us. The price of Rura Raya is comparable to some of the hotels in Rantepao but you will experience an authentic Torajan hospitality by staying with Manae. Highly recommended.
