Beautiful accommodation

Very beautiful, old mansion turned into a small hotel/B&B. Friendly service with wonderful buffet style breakfast. Lots of homemade goodies served. Nice, big room with a door to an outdoor shared backyard. Our room had a bathroom, which had been renovated just recently, with a nice, embedded bath tub. Lots of peacocks in the garden. Beware: they make loud noises, starting early in the morning. I do recommend this place to anyone who likes to stay in mansions (I do), BUT: the bed was SO damp, including the mattress, sheets and pillows. We suffered the first night, the second night we ended up sleeping on top of the bedcover, with our own towels as blankets.

Incredible Authentic Quinta Experience

We enjoyed our visit to Foz do Areleho and a large part of that was staying at Quinta da Foz. The beautiful architecture of the Quinta and the gracious hospitality of the owners and their wonderful hostess Ana made for a perfect experience. The building and grounds are almost 500 years old, and we were welcome to tour the dens, libraries, and living rooms still used by the family. Our very large room was amazing- columns, beautiful moldings, updated bath with large soaking tub. We enjoyed coffee on the rear porch looking over the grounds toward the bay, and enjoyed an incredible breakfast of fresh breads, cured meats, local cheeses, and even a fruit crumble baked by the owner. Ana helped us find very good and very inexpensive local restaurants, within easy walking distance of the Quinta. All in all it was a great experience and we're looking forward to our return.…

We zijn hier echt verwend geweest door de gastheer en zijn personeel. We hadden een heel grote en mooie kamer die uitgaf op het erf van waar je de lagune kon zien. Het comfortniveau in deze eeuwenoude Quita is verrassend goed. Slapen doe je perfect in deze geluidloze kamer en het uitstekend bed. De douche in de badkamer functioneert goed. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en lekker vers allemaal. Een must do experience.

Tanto las instalaciones como el trato magníficos.

Estuvimos unos días toda la familia. Muy tranquilo y las habitaciones preciosas. En cuanto al trato ha sido inmejorable. Han estado en todo momento pendientes de nosotros. El desayuno es espectacular. La señora que nos atendió no pudo ser más agradable y atenta. Totalmente recomendable.

Um conceito diferente e tão familiar

Solar muito bonito e calmo, onde se pode pode reviver a estadia em casa daquela tia afastada, que em criança visitámos, no Norte. Só que neste somos recebidos pelo Se. Joaquim e está a dez minutos da praia. Confortáveis, os quartos têm uma porta independente para um alpendre e pátio, e uma porta para a sala de estar. Pequeno almoço bem nutrido e agradável. Apesar do preço, ligeiramente acima da média, já lá fiquei mais de uma vez e faço questão de voltar.
