Dear NordicExplorer, Thank you ever so much for sharing your experience of your recent stay with us in June. I would have welcomed, and preferred, to review the same with you personally, yet understand you may have been pressed for time during the conference you attended. I am most surprised and disappointed to hear of the service shortfalls you encountered, and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. The safety and privacy of our guests is one of our most important responsibilities, so we were disappointed to learn of your experience upon your arrival. It clearly does not reflect the usual service standards we pride ourselves in providing to all our clients, and I will personally look into the matter more closely. Only through feedback such as yours are we able to improve our services, and I thank you for bringing this to our attention. With regards to the payment policy, it is customary to ask all guests to provide a method of payment upon arrival, to cover all accommodation expenses, and potential other consumptions in the bar or restaurant, and other facilities. The credit card provided is not charged until you depart, and we merely obtain a credit card authorization, which can be released if not used. I apologize if this was not explained to you correctly. Our breakfast experience is one that we take most pride in since we have introduced a new breakfast buffet concept, and which has received wonderful feedback since. The service you experienced certainly does not reflect on the usual service quality, and we will use your kind feedback to provide further training to our team. Thank you for highlighting the set up shortfalls in our small business lounge in the hotel, where we do provide 2 desktops and printing facilities. These are indeed switched off after a certain time, yet we have a team available 24 hours a day who can provide assistance with any equipment if desired. The desktops are regularly serviced, yet I have taken the liberty of forwarding your recommendations to our IT department to action if needed. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we would appreciate that upon your next visit to Lisbon, you would allow us to redeem ourselves and provide you the true “Myriad” experience, which in your case unfortunately fell short. Hi , my was a corporate travel so i didn't had to deal with payment, taxi around 35 euros , also i was working at the conference center which is around the corner from hotel .

Is there a bus, boat or train into Lisbon city. Approximate price for a taxi.
Hi :) Yes you can take the train, they have different lines but you can always ask for direction or get a map for locations, I went by train to Lisbon city and beside that you have the hop on and hop off buses. Don't take regular taxi, they are not good, sometimes they will charge another price than what's said and the drivers can be very rude. I know people who live there and they adviced me to go by Uber. Uber is much cheaper but it's cheaper to go with transportations as bus or train. I think a trip can be between 10 - 20 euro to the city, depending on what day it is and how far away you are from the place. Good luck and have a nice stay, Lisbon is very beautiful specially the old city :)
