the location is great, easy to find. we were there 3 nights and had no problems with noise either outside or inside the block. there was a lovely welcome at check in from a most helpful young man. we liked being able to make food and there was a big fridge/ freezer, hob, microwave. it was adequately clean with lovely linen. But, the sofa is a 2 seater (so no relaxing lolling around, we sat like we were in a train carriage! and the sofa was quite worn and saggy in the middle). the major issue was the mattress- it had seen a long life. springs were literally creaking as we moved (and we are not very big people) and we were constantly rolling into the middle where it is so sagging. so we were pretty tired after 3 nights. it was a shame as otherwise its great and we enjoyed our stay in Coventry.…

De ordnade fram ett rum snabbt till oss då vi fått problem med vårat bokade boende. Det ligger väldigt centralt och har ett stort parkeringsgarage precis bredvid. Rummet var något slitet men rent och fräscht. Det fanns 2 sovrum med 2 enkelsängar respektive en dubbelsäng. Sängarna var riktigt sköna. I det ena badrummet fanns ett badkar och i det andra en dusch. Här kan man vara lite mer planerad och fixa 2 duschar istället. I vardagsrummet/köket fanns 2 soffor var av den ena nog var färdigsutten. Köket var nytt och bra planerat, dock fungerade inte fläkten så bra, sitter för högt upp eller behöver en ordentligt skrubb. Vi önskade en större stekpanna men det fixade vi medans vi handlade och lämnade den i lägenheten. Vi saknade en disktrasa. På det stora hela väl värt att bo här med den trevliga personalen, standarden och läget. Vi kommer säkerligen bo här igen om vi återvänder till Coventry.…

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The appertment itself was comfortable and spacious, with all the facilities you need to self cater. The bedding and towels were clean and most of the apartment was too. There were a couple of oversights, toothpaste smeared on a wall and the shower unit had stained sealant. A door handle came off in my sons hand - the screws were missing. There was Netflix available on a big TV, so we enjoyed that. The biggest downside was the noise. There is lots of noise from the city centre location - people shouting and arguing in the street at all hours and the noise really carries. There was also a lot of disturbance from other apartments - the first night the noise started at midnight and went on til 2am. The second night people were talking loudly on the balcony at 3am and other people were banging on the window to shut them up! It was a convenient location for us for travel and we liked the self contained facilities. If we booked again, we'd take ear plugs!…

I travel a lot so well versed in expectations of apartments vs hotels. The pluses of this apartment block (>60 apartments) are location (easy 3 min walk to Spon street & eateries) parking 100 metres away at £14 a week and efficient process to get keys. The bed and sofa etc are comfy with good overall space and decoration is ok. But apartment 40 needs a deep clean and some regular maintenance; the oven, fridge and the bathroom needs work/replacing, wardrobe handles are broken shower is cracked /leaked with mouldy sealant and cracked side panel. Its a shame as otherwise it was a good stay. With a refurb of bathroom and appliances I would stay again as it was also good value.

I had a one night stay in Coventry for business and for some reason this was booked for me instead of a hotel which was problematic because when arriving late in the evening and needing to be out early in the morning, you need food to be available on site and this was not the case here. So this was certainly not fit for the purpose of my visit and far more appropriate for a more relaxed stay of at least a couple of days or more. That said I will review based on the quality of what was on offer. Very spacious, very clean. Good, clean bed linen and fresh towels. Fully fitted kitchen with cooker hob, microwave, fridge, freezer etc., all as new. Dining area and living area with TV. Great shower and bath facilities including en suite. Beds were very comfortable. The heating was on for my arrival. The drawback is mainly the impersonal nature of these places. On arrival you need to call a number previously supplied to you while booking and wait a few minutes for the manager/caretaker to arrive to let you in. Access to the building is via an electronic key fob which activates the lifts too. So the building doesn't seem to be permanently manned and the sense of security that this may not give some people could be a problem. The check out arrangements were odd - leave the keys on the kitchen table and simply leave........ The other drawback is that too all intents and purposes you are staying in and amongst student accommodation. It was difficult to weigh up how many people were staying in the apartments - all was very quiet but certainly there are many student facilties in the immediate vicinity. I cannot comment on value for money as the booking was made for me but the facilities within the apartment were very good.…
