We are disappointed to learn that we fell short of expectations on this occasion. Any complaints or dissatisfaction should be referred immediately to the Front Desk, who will aim to resolve any problem, no matter how small, with immediate effect. All our room sizes are clearly displayed on our website. The size of room, and amenities, depend on the classification of room you have reserved. We understand how disappointing your stay must have been, but London has experienced an unprecedented heat wave which has obviously been out of our control. We do have fans which are available from the Front Desk on request. Guests should never feel unsafe in our Hotels. We take the safety of our guests seriously, and, for reassurance, we have cameras inside and outside the Hotels. We apologise for the rubbish bags on the pavement, but the Council insist on all the Hotels and private Residents in the Square to leave the rubbish out on the pavements on Collection Day. This is unavoidable and there is nothing anyone can do about that, unfortunately. You are clearly a Harry Potter fan, Samantha, as are most of us at the Hotel. We hope that, despite your disappointment in other areas, you at least managed to visit Platform 9 and 3/4 and the Harry Potter store in Kings Cross Station (a five-minute walk from our Hotel) during your stay. It is well worth a visit! We do hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back to our Hotel. If you feel that the night porter was rude to you, this should have been reported to the Manager the following morning. We offer you our sincere apologies for the attitude displayed by the night porter, who has been dealt with appropriately. We have experienced a heat wave in London of the sort that we have never experienced before, and the heat was beyond our control. We do offer additional fans, available from the Front Desk on request. Our rooms are cleaned thoroughly by a professional firm of cleaners after every departure, and inspected by a supervisor before every arrival. So we are disheartened to learn that you found something untoward on the floor of your room. It would have been better all round if this matter had been addressed with the Front Desk at the time. Guests should never feel uncomfortable or unsafe. We have cameras inside and outside the Hotels, and we take the security of our guests very seriously. We offer very competitive rates and we are therefore a very popular Hotel in the area, as we are located in a quiet Square amidst the hustle and bustle of Central London, just a five-minute walk from Kings Cross / St Pancras International, the London Underground, the British Library, a huge network of bus routes, a big taxi rank, and a vast array of eateries to suit every palate and every pocket. We had a heatwave in London of the sort that we have never experienced before. Additional fans can be obtained from the Front Desk on request. We have a central check-in for all our sister Hotels, which are all located in the same Square, just a few yards from each other. This year, we unusually experienced a heat wave in London of the sort that we have never experienced before, and it was uncomfortable for some guests. However, we do provide fans on request. All our room sizes are clearly displayed on our website. The size of room, and amenities, depend on the classification of room you have reserved.
