This was an absolute hidden gem. Based on an old coachouse with exceptional rooms. They were ample and very well decorated. It was quiet and the bar and restaurant was excellent. Superb food and staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Lots of onsite secure parking.

Beautiful place staff can’t do enough for you. Perfect place for a sunset. Food is amazing! Can’t recommend it enough. Your glass doesn’t empty as the staff are on it! Everyone is very friendly. Room is really nice and cosy

I just came back from a lovely 4 days stay in The New Inn. We had a cosy room with everything we needed. Breakfast was sourced with very good quality local products very well cooked. The staff was really lovely and accommodating. We had dinner a couple of nights and again we really enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. I would recommend this place for visiting Dorchester area.

The service at The New Inn was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and he was treated with care and lots of fuss. Although we couldn't have our meals in the restaurant because of him, this was dealt with quickly and easily, by moving our table to the bar. The room was very clean and well decorated, with all amenities needed.The food was delicious and beautifully presented. All prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend
