Hotel Owner’s and Management’s first lesson: Guest are always right. During the last years we had hundreds of guest from many country, different age and character. Also during this stay, the hotel was fully booked and all other guest enjoyed their stay. Buffet: We see it as positive and proof that our food was tastefull, so our Guest could eat untill completely finish 5 (five) complete chicken, made as chicken curry, a big bowl of rice, about 2,5 kg vegetables made as Cabcay, one and half container krupuk plus a big plate of fruit with just 5 people. We also don’t mind, that other 4 guest who booked dinner, didn’t get at time and had to wait untill we cooked new for them. It’s our pleasure to serve this complete dinner for Rp.65.000 include tax and service charge (all children, even older, we didn’t count) while the price for just one chicken on that special time already was Rp.45.000 on the market. We can’t follow the imagination and never heard like this, that BUFFET means ALL YOU CAN EAT. At least this complain is about Rp 4.500.-- If this guest compare to an other accomodation, than should also compare the double price there. About breakfast: never other guest complained and is more than rich. Usually the breakfast who is include the roomrate is a continantal breakfast - extra’s not included, but we serve for our guest’s comfort a buffet include Milk, cereals and cheese pp. without extra charge. We don’t mind that Management’s try to explain get interupted with “shut up, you...” We don’t mind to give rental motorbikes for free – even request was just for couple minutes and come back after more than one and half hour. Within 500 mtr. to the left of Hotel are 3(three) small shops and 1(one) minimarket and about 200 mtr. to the right side of Hotel another small shop and local cafee – sure not made in Jakarta or Medan Style. We don’t mind if guest refill their Liter Bottles any time with drinking water to safe some Rupiah for buying in a shop. Coffee, Tea, sugar or creamer we put for internal reason not in the room at the moment, but on request our guest will get any time for free. We also don’t mind if guest make bad reviews, don’t follow the real follow up to make a story interesting. Breakfast on first day, guest even got 2( two) complete big packs of bread, cheese, plate of eggs, rice, noodles, butter, jam, cereals, milk and fruits. After experience with the dinner at this day was decided by the guest not to have breakfast next day. Just part of group took breakfast on the last morning, we made before check out, even before official restaurant opening time just to let the guest not get out hungry for their travel. We also don’t mind that same group/family make two reviews just from different computers/places and copy/paste parts of other negative review to make the negative more strong. Lock: We are sorry to have safety locks on our doors who not that easy to brake for safety of our guest. To imagine just to brake the lock and it’s done is more than naiv. Our doors are thick and handcurved made from stabil wood and not cheap at all. Unluckywise the guest who checked out some hours before, took the original key with and the driver didn’t bring back yet. We appollogize that this guest left our sparepart key we gave instead of the original in the room and locked the door with press a button iside the door, who must be pressed in purpose to lock the door. Never was talking about 4 million Rupiah, but coyld be if we would follow guest’s request. Clean: We read our Hotel reviews very carefully and do our best to provide clean and comfortable rooms. Especially coz this, we check our rooms carefully and reakt imidiatly if something happen. All rooms and minibars are checked by management before this guest came in and where clean, dry and not smelly. About faulty kettle we got no information otherwise we would change imidiatly. It’s correct that one bedsheet had mistake we couldn’t see by checking the room, but we renewed the complete bed imidiatly. In deed we appreciate the suggestion for guest, who want to stay on a calm and peaceful place, enjoy the comfort of our rooms, use facilities as it should be, the exotic of our surrounding and explore from here out the beauty of the island, snorkel, diving or do many other activities. Anoi Itam is still a remute area what is part of the hotel’s concept to give guest a chance to release stress from big city’s. We appreciate guest, who know about the challanges after a 35 years period of War and Tsunami at least, to develop tourism on this island and see what is done in about just 5 years after tsunami and beginning of accomodation build up instead of complaining what is still not done. The Island is still in the beginning to raise up as tourist island and not yet overdeveloped as many other tourist destination’s. We always do our best to provide a best possible service, starting from booking, transportation until check out, welcome our guest heardly and with respect as long our guest do same to staff and management. Especially for older people and children the reality and our experince shows that guest moved from other places to have more safety and overview special for small children. To reach the sea for swimming we made specially a wide gang to pass in without coral stones. Transportation and Insurance: To safe Rp 5.000 as we suggested for Ferry insurance is up to travellers, we do in good meaning as Ferry accident’s shows... Rasa Seni don’t ever make differences between “white” or “local” guest for transportation, it’s completely taxi assotiation’s behave and not to blame to our Hotel. We do this service just on request and use only serious drivers with acceptable good car’s with price, who is given to us without surcharge. Re-sell tickets ? such a nonsens and shows the real intense of this review.
