We googled 'elephants' near us whilst we were staying in Ubud and found Mason's Elephant Park. We looked at the options and booked the 'Bathe and Breakfast Tour + Elephant Ride' through Mason Adventures.
We received an e-mail outlining full inclusions which were:
Pick-up and drop-off from hotel Park Entrance Breakfast (buffet all you can eat) Elephant Bathing Elephant Feeding Elephant Safari Ride
We arrived and started with the buffet breakfast. Lots of inclusions of cereals, noodles, eggs, sausages, bakery items, tea and coffee, juices, fruits. The restaurant overlooks the bathing area for the elephants.
After breakfast we went to the bathing area where we were able to hop on an elephant as it entered the huge pond. The elephants submerged completely whilst we were on their backs, and they frolicked around the water. This experience was about 45 mins and so much fun. Staff use our phones to take lots of photos and videos.
After the bathe was the washing. A hose and a scrubbing brush in the wash area, the elephants seemed to love it. No chains at all by any of the elephants we saw, and they seemed content with all the interaction.
After the washing was the feeding, then the safari.
Overall, easily the best animal experience either of us have ever had.

Elephants chained to small circles - they say it’s good for the elephants, to stop fighting - but it’s clear that it’s a cruel practice. Only time they are allowed to move freely is with people on their back. The handlers let you give the elephants good food like fruit when you pay extra, otherwise they are fed wood and bark. Overall a bad experience and anyone with any empathy for animals can tell that the elephants are not happy. They pretend that they saved the elephants from worse treatment, which may be true - but way more have been introduced to the facility since the initial population was moved there. Shocked and sorry I went.

We paid 115 euros to wash an elephant 10 minutes. The elephant are not in the park, which is empty, only one elephant was there and it’s feet chained. Others are always used to transport tourist for tiny tour (10 min) and “lake” wash within a filthy water full of poo that one guy tries to remove.
The cost is prohibitive, yet giving food to elephant is not free ! Everything is fine to make you pay more.
The people were very nice but felt a bit tired of the tourists circus…
The buffet gave us stomachache and beverage are not complimentary.
Overall we felt like being cash machine to be milked dry by a sort of disney park.
This is not comparable to other elephant parks in South Asia.

Magical from the moment we checked in . I have never been to a place so serene. the care of the elephants is priority in every way . They happily work with the tourist swimming & riding and just constantly eating . We stayed one night which was superb the room was stunning 5 * the service all around the lodge was 5* the food was excellent & we got an elephant lift to the restaurant in the evening. This really is a magical place and don’t hesitate to book ❤️

Me & my fiancé had an amazing time during our photoshoot at the park with Lukcip the elephant. Staffs are very helpful & friendly, really passionate with their jobs. Elephant’s needs & comfort is the priority but at the same time they make sure that we’ll get the best experience. Thank you so much!

Hi, with the accomodation you get breakfast, the ekephant bathe and wash, the elephant safari and the elephant my picks you up and takes you for your evening meal. The only extras we paid for was airport pick up and evening meal. As guests you also gave access to the park. It’s a great place to go.
Hi Iowrimack, thanks for writing in. Pick up for our bathe & breakfast option is usually between 6am - 7am (depending on where your hotel/villa is. You can stay at the park for as long as you'd like during the day, but most people stay for about 2 - 3 hours, and are usually back at their hotels/villas by the earlier afternoon.
Ada lebih banyak tempat yang dapat dipilih di daerah Taro.
