Kami dateng tengah malam, jadi gak begitu ngeh sama interior hotel.
I stayed in the Permata Mulia Hotel in Cikokol, Tangerang, Jakarta, for 3 weeks in September and October 2009. It is a Domestic Hotel and staff mostly do not speak English, however the reception staff spoke a little English, and one of the houseboys was fluent. I wanted somewhere quiet and not expensive and the Permata Mulia was a great choice. This hotel was well serviced and rooms were tended daily on request. The staff were all extremely helpful and obliging, and I have no complaints about my stay there. One morning the air conditioner broke down so my husband had reported it to housekeeping, and and before I had a chance to get out of bed, there were suddenly 4 men in our room all trying to fix the machine, all trying their best not to look at me still in bed....it was funny. The houseboy who spoke good English told me they do not get westerners in their hotel so I became somewhat of a spectacle, (my husband is Indonesian). No matter what time of the night we got back to the hotel, there was a staff member waiting to lock up the parking area after we had arrived. This hotel is quite busy for a small hotel with only about 30 rooms on 3 floors, but it is a domestic hotel and generally caters only for the domestic market. I paid AUD27 per night and I would stay there again because I found it comfortable and clean with good service...including breakfasts daily (included in the price) and room service. However, being so small and a no star hotel, there was no pool and the building was old, the bathroom was not what I am used to either having no handbasin, but at least it had a western style toilet and a proper shower, and it took me some time to get used to the way all the bathrooms there just shower over the floors and took a while to dry out. But, as I was only there to sleep, I improvised so that did not bother me at all. It is only about 20 minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport making it quite handy. I will go back to Jakarta and stay there again because I liked the hotel and the helpful staff.…
