Hi,
My husband and I try to use public transport whenever possible so would like answers to ask the following questions please. All answers will be gratefully received.
How frequently do buses run from near the site and where do they go to? (I have tried to locate timetables etc but I am struggling to find upto date timetables online.)
Where is the nearest railway station and where do the trains go from it? I have noticed that there is a Beauvais to Paris Nord train which travels via Creil and a service from Beauvais to Clermont but cannot see whether there is a link to Bresles. Looking at our atlas It appears as though there is a train link from Clermont to Amiens. Again, are the trains frequent and regular?
Are the railway car parks at Beauvais, Clermont and Creil suitable for motorhomes? Ours is 7.2mtrs in length and 2.9mtres high so not terribly easy to park, which is why we tend to use public transport whenever we can. If the car parks are suitable how much do they cost to park up for the day.
Thank you for reading my questions and thank you in advance for any replies.
Hello,
I am Joannette Polo, co-owner of the Camping de la Trye with my husband.
Sorry for the delay but we didn't realize we got your questions obn Tripadvisor!
In Bresles is a bus line between Clermont and BEauvais.
It's not going every hour but we have the timetable, you can also find it on 'Oise Mobilite', it's line 33A.
For the train the best is to take the train in Clermont de l'Oise to Paris. it takes about 45, 50 minutes. Clermont is at 10 minutes drive from the campsite. Yopu will find the timetable on the website TER Picardie, it's line 22 paris-Amiens. It's a little bit complicated at the moment becasue there are works going on...
Please ask us more info by mail (we will reply the same day in the evening)
I'm not sure if you can go into the parking space at the railway station, I will have a look tonight, I am in Paris at the moment! Kind regards,
Joannette Polo
