Had a brilliant day here with the family the kids loved it, but do feel it needs to be maned a bit better or make it clear to parents that kids should not be in the water unsupervised and with no life jacket.

Great fun had by all. However I think the area by the mud pool would benefit from some picnic benches or even just some seats. Also maybe a toilet block instead of just the ones as you come in at the entrance. It's quite a walk back if you need too. Staff really friendly. Cafe and shop really expensive. £2.50 for a bottle of fanta. All in all a really fab day outdoors for the kids and the big kids. Don't forget a change of clothes.

Had a fantastic day out! My little girl is 4 and had an absolute blast! All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The trail was lots of fun for all, we would highly recommend Manley Mere for a day out with the kids!

Always a great family day out here we have been several times and it's good wholesome outdoor family fun. Top tips - take a change of clothes, towels, wear your old clothes expecting to have some muddy fun. Dogs are welcome too and we always take a picnic. Complete your waiver in advance on line.

OK. We came for my daughter's birthday and booked the Adventure Trail, and having looked through the wonderful online 'sample' menu for the Chameleon Cafe, decided to have lunch first and then proceed to the trail.
On booking online there were some snags with the system - it took our payment but would not process the order, so we had to phone the place up and get them to send our tickets. No big deal. Then we were instructed to complete the waiver forms and bring them with us, but whoever created the website decided to put the waivers in an obscure .pages file format which cannot be read or printed out.
Arriving at the Chameleon Cafe, we were immediately disappointed by the menu, which was so different from the online sample menu that I actually had to ask the staff if we were in the right place. The lunch menu was really small and depressing, complemented by a very small selection of drinks. On ordering, at 12:10, I was told that lunch didn't start until 12:30. So I asked if they were still doing breakfast, and was told a flat 'No'. After a little while they agreed to take my lunch order.
I paid £50 for a steak baguette, two chicken burgers and hummous with bread, and three iced lattes. It was so unappealing when it arrived that we ate barely any of it except the hummous. The chicken burgers were small reheated frozen fillets with a slice of cheese on top in a big floury bap. The steak in the baguette looked and tasted several days old, and the iced lattes were watery and unappealing. It was honestly one of the worst cafe experiences I've had for years.
On to the trail, which was brilliant fun. I'd recommend this place, but avoid the cafe at all costs.

My husband and son booked a paddle board session to get some experience prior to going on holiday. My husband had a gift voucher remaining from fathers day and used it to pay for the slot. Upon arrival they were told they could only have one lift jacket or take it in turns on the board, this was not suitable as our son is 8. As both of them were unable to use the board together they asked if they could book another slot on a different day when they could bring another life jacket. They were told this was not possible and the gift voucher had now been spent. I understand they were too busy to let them use another life jacket, but to then say the gift voucher is now spent when they couldn't even make us of the slot they'd booked is disgusting service. We live locally and have visited Manley a number of times recently, unfortunately this experience has put us off visiting again.

Haven’t had this much fun in ages. Muddy, wet fun! Our two girls (9 and 7) absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back. £50 for all four us. We had a great day!

How strict are they on children needing to 8 to go on the aquapark? Do they ask for proof of age?My son is nearly 8 and i will also be participating. He is a competent swimmer and it seems a shame for him to miss out

You have to fill in a registration form with all of the participant's details before you're given your wristband. I wasn't asked to provide any proof of age for either of my children and neither was my sister (who had to accompany her 10 year old). We just provided the personal information requested on the form.

Great first time at Manley Mere Aqua Park yesterday,lots of fun! Will be going back to do the nature trail but was wondering can you get round it with a pram/pushchair?

Hi, yes there is a footpath which should be suited for a pushchair/pram it’s great fun but make sure you take extra clothes for your little ones to change into afterwards.
Booked the aqua park experience for tomorrow,any tips with regards to what we need to bring? What do you wear under your wetsuit! (Apologies if that’s a silly question)

Swimming costumes - as you will still get wet! Flip flops for when you come off the park. Towels for afterwards - basically same stuff you would take if going swimming.
Then defo some money for a well earned treat in the cafe afterwards!

Have the water activities dried up with this hot weather? We don't know whether to leave our visit until normal NW weather returns - we don't want to go if there aren't muddy ponds for the kids to wade through.

Walked the dog on Monday and the muddy puddles are there not as big, still lots of water and other activities. Worth a visit still.
