Like the main park, most of Thomas land was shut when we walked through. Maybe 3 rides were open, and one shop. Would be a shame to travel far and only have this many things open / to see.

It’s a best place for Thomas fans kids to spend a few hours here. However, the area of the Thomas land is quite small and not much variety of games. The price of each game is overpriced, ¥400-¥500 per person per game, which means if you play with your kids together, like 2 adults and 1 kid, you need to spend ¥1,500 per game which I think it is overpriced.
Generally speaking, it’s a nice place for kids but not an attractive theme park.

My two year old loves Thomas, so we were excited about this. None of the rides lasted more than thirty seconds, and there was virtually nothing that was interactive. I would expect a park like this to have places for kids to run and play. You essentially have to buy adult passes because children can't ride the rides alone, and the rides are over so quick. My wife and I wanted to split rides with our son, but the money added up too quickly. I gave it the second dotfor because entry is free and my son enjoyed the Ferris wheel at Fuji Q which is connected to this. But the Thomas part of the park is underwhelming even for small children.

My 6 year old has been fascinated by Thomas since she was about 6 months. We surprised him with this trip and he had a magnificent time. Thomasland is part of a larger drayton manor park. The park contains Thomas Land, a zoo, some family rides, and some thriller rides. The rides in Thomas Land were all families rides, and the ride attendants were friendly and helpful. Food in park is a bit pricey and not necessarily good. Definitely recommend the park; however, I would advise people to bring they own food in.

Went with my family to Fuji -q highland theme park especially for Thomas Land. We went with LIMON tours and they did a whistle stop tour of Mount Fuji then the afternoon was spent at the theme park. Glad we did this as I don’t think the theme park would have kept us occupied for the full day. Full day needed if you are coming for the thrill rides as the queuing times were 40 minutes despite the park being empty.
If you are from the UK, think Drayton Manor theme park with a Thomas Land section, only the Thomas Land here is a lot smaller.
We were lucky and there was NO queues at any of the Thomas rides. We virtually jumped on everything. I suggest you buy the unlimited ride ticket otherwise you would have to pay per ride which would be costly as both adult and child needs a ticket. Our tour only gave us 3 ride tickets and Thomas Land has about 8-10 rides. Each ticket was either 400¥ or 500¥ per person. All the rides need a adult to accompany the child. Don’t bother paying for the circus maze. Not worth it. You are given a leaflet to collect stamps round the maze and rewarded with a sticker. 800¥ that cost for both of us. Go if you have the all inclusive ticket.
Little one is a big Thomas ride and loves it here despite it being smaller than Drayton manor Thomas Land. The place is clean and well kept. The staff are always cheerful. One or two rides were undergoing maintenance and the cold don’t affect us at all as the weather was dry. Lovely to walk round the park and also see the majestic Mount Fuji.
Happy to come back again on our next visit to Japan if the little one still likes Thomas.

My youngest son's request is to see Thomas and so we visited Thomas land. The rides were very amusing. There is also a covered play area if you want to be indoors.
The restaurant have a big variety of delicious food to choose from and it has some Thomas and other character design. There are statues also to take photos. another interesting attraction is the giant maze. Kids and adults will surely enjoy the park. And it is connected to Fuji Q highland if you want to enjoy more thrilling rides. But if you have young kids, you can spend the wholeday just in Thomas land. There are lockers also if you have big bags with you. Photo souvenir with the Thomas and friends is available in one of the rides. Please try to visit and enjoy Thomas land!

I can't explain the glow on my 2 yr old kid's face when we arrived in Thomas Land inside Fuji-Q. He has been a fan for a while and seeing everything in life size was even slightly overwhelming for him, but he had so much fun and we plan to go again. We bought the cheapest/free pass and pay-per-play given that we knew we wouldnt stay for too many hours. The restaurants, facility and toilet are all excellent

2018 marks the 20th anniversary of Thomas Land. Once inside, we could see many characters, besides THOMAS. Very adorable , cute, interesting. There are many rides , well suited for kids. Impressive displays of Thomas Land products at the shop.

It's a unique experience especially if you have a Thomas fans travelling with you.
The day pass is not a good deal unless you repeat some games. We didn't save at all because most games require an adult to accompany.
Anyway, the children enjoy it. Even when we left Japan now, they still ask when we will go back Thomas Land.
Good thing about this is that most foreign travelers will give it a pass, so it's not crowded.

The price was so high for access to the park especially since there were so little things to do. Only a handful of rides in the park and they were cheesy and so quick (one was literally a tiny loop). It was also annoying that we after already paying the ridiculously high entry fees, you also had to pay $2-3 for each ride which adults had to accompany the kid on. So it was even costlier. I would totally recommend against coming here.

Thomas Land is part of Fuji q highland theme park. Double check on their website. I suggest getting the unlimited pass as there are many rides in Thomas land and each rides requires a adult too. Rides are 400-500¥ each and there are about 8-10 rides. Your little one may want to ride some twice.
You’ll get loads of amazing photos. Have fun.

We are mainly interested in Thomas land as my son is only 5 years old. Will it take long to go round Thomas Land as we may only do half a day at the theme park and go to do a little Mount Fuji tour too?

hello. half day is enough to enjoy the Thomas land park. The waiting time for the rides are not that long. it is part of the Fuji-Q theme park so the crowd is somehow separated. we spent half day at Thomas land and half day in Fuji-Q then went back to Thomas land in the evening to have some photos with the monuments as requested by my son. Enjoy!!!!

How much would it cost to get by the Thomas Train to Thomas Land And/Or the Thomas Bus? Also how to get to the train/bus station from Asakusa? Thanks :)
Hi, I'm interested to buy a ticket + bus ticket from Shinjuku. How do I go about it? I cannot seem to find any online site to purchase it. Klook only sells tickets a week in advance.
Are the bus tickets easy to purchase? Because I am planning to get on the 7.30 am bus from Shinjuku. How far ahead do I need to reserve the tickets?

Hi, we suggest you could reserve Fuji-Q one day pass (includes Tomas Land) first as tripadvisor is selling.
And it is easy to buy the ticket form Shinjuku to Fuji-Q highland, the bus reservation information and schedule as below for your reference

May I know whether we need to get the Fuji Q Land full price ticket in order to get to this Thomas Land? As most likely we will not be taking those adults rides but mainly for my 2 boys age 1 and 4. Many thanks.
