Our guide Henry was amazing. He had so much knowledge about the jungle, spoke great English and was very funny. The food was great everyday on the trek and at the campsites. The campsites are more like tent cabins along the river. The company is very organized and reliable as they were always on time and very thoughtful about what we wanted to get out of the trek.

Was an amazing trip we did in the jungle with Sumatran jungle trekking company, we saw lots of orang utans and different types of monkeys, gibbons and others.and our guides were very caring thank you very much Sandy and Ijal for a great experience

Unforgettable trip, the best emotions in our life! we highly recommend this company. The guides are the best, they watched and protected us in the jungle. Interesting stories were told. We saw the primates 15 minutes later it's amazing. We were fed very tasty, because we had a cook with us and this is the best cook, believe me. We were in the jungle for 3 days and 2 nights, this is the best fitness. and sleeping in tents to the sounds of nature is a pleasure. I highly recommend, be sure to take a tour with this company. I did the one day jungle trekking together with Sandy and I had the best day ever!!!
Sandy is very professional and such a lovely guy with a great energy and sense of humor. We had a lot of fun walking through the rainforest together while spotting the amazing orangutans. We saw many of them (even two of them came walking down the trees so I was very lucky so see them so closeby!) and I had a blast!!! It was the best day of my whole trip I Indonesia. I ate Nasi Goreng for lunch which was absolutely delicious and I received fresh fruits. Very tasty lunch. In the end of the hike, we went back rafting in some tyres which was a very fun surprise! I was not expecting that at all and we passed by a beautiful waterfall.
If you want to have an amazing experience, please don't hesitate and book the tour with Sandy!

I first meet Sandi in 2014, he was our guide for an overnight trek in the jungle near Bukit Lawang. Sandi was knoweldgable, considerate of the wildlife, fun to hang out with and we had a great experience seeing the orangutans, thomas leaf monkey and other wildlife in their natural environment. Nothing compares to that moment when you look up and see an orangutan swinging from tree to tree in their own backyard!
As a travel advisor based in Australia with an interest in active and adventure holidays, I send all my clients wanting to see the orangutans to hike with Sandi in Sumatra. I usually try to escourt my groups buth when I can't make the trip, I know my clients will be very well looked after from the moment they arrive at the airport and that they will have the best experience possible with Sandi and his team.
I highly recommend this company for an ethical jungle experience

Seeing orangutans in zoos or safari parks is common, but if you want to be extraordinary this is the place, trekking in the wilderness while seeing the habitat of wild orangutans is an experience that will not be easily forgotten in your life. we did a 3 day trip in the jungle we recommended sumatra jungle trekking

Great views, fresh air, soothing gurgling water, blending sounds of nature. for jungle trekking, the path is not too difficult, you can make children join in. While trekking enjoy nature and see orangutans. The atmosphere here is very comfortable. Oh yes, the garbage is invisible, the environment is really clean here, the buildings are also integrated with nature

We did a 3day/2 night jungletrek and it was amazing! Our guides Jojo and Ijal were very nice, funny and helpful along the way. We did plenty of stops to search and look for animals. The chef was very good and cooked delicious lunch and dinner for us. I recommend Sumatra Jungle Trekking to anyone!
