It seems this national park is loved by the local as so many people came with their walking stuff. It's a big area full of coniferous. At the moment we were here, the blueberries were in season. There are different walking trail to choose. The short one is about 500m from the entrance to the lake and it's the easiest one as we could walk on the wooden path and after that it was quite rough.

Even though we were here on an overclouded day in october, the magic of this landscape immediately took to us.
The old forests with their mossy ground are breathtakingly beautiful and you get beautiful views of small lakes and marshlands.
We did two trails, the Urskogslingan 3km and the Myrslingan 2,5 km. They're very different and doable in a good 1,5-2 hours.

Remotely located in the middle of Sweden, but worth a visit if you are nearby. very good accessibility and facilities were recently renewed. Take a lot of mosquito protection if you go during Summer!
