Called. No signage but Neighbours directed us to the pottery studio. Arrived and told by son that they are busy with other things so not producing any pottery... for this summer anyway. He didn’t know when it would be back open..
Didn’t see anything confirming this on their website. disappointing

Lovely pottery

We visited the pottery last week and bought some lovely mugs, sugar bowl and t shirts.Beautiful work and very friendly personable owner.

A Hidden Gem

A must stop - beautiful pieces of pottery. We were on a mission for some Achill Island pottery and stumbled upon this gem! Joe was great, after paying for our pottery he showed us around his shop and explained the process to us! Wonderful conversation in addition to great pottery to add to our collection at home. We are so happy we saw the sign on the side of the road and made the stop!

Great pottery & friendly staff

I popped in to look at the what Alt na Croi Pottery had to offer and I was delighted to find that not only were the products beautiful but the staff were lovely too. We were greeted by a friendly dog who couldn't wait to show us to the entrance, once we were inside we met Joe and got chatting. He told us all about the history of the area and recommended some great spots to visit. I'm really happy with my purchase too, the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. Really glad we stopped by.

Not much to do in Keel but don't miss this shop

Was in Keel area to see deserted village and some of the natural beauty. Was going bye shop so decided to visit and it is well worth it. The best part was how friendly the people running the shop were to guests.

Always a Pleasure to visit

It is always a pleasure to visit Alt na Croí Pottery. Nothing is a problem to Joe or his boss (his words). If it can be done, they can do it. Perfect for personalised gifts to bring home. As well as pottery they also offer a Tshirt and hoody printing service at very reasonable rates. If you see an Achill hoody, chances are it came from them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

A Lovely Place To visit

We spotted the sign for Achill Island Pottery and although we were not in need of any pottery we called in! I'm entering we were immediately taken aback by the lovely colours on display and the relaxing music playing in the background!

We were given plenty of time to peruse the pottery on display and at no time were we hassled or felt obliged to purchase anything! We did purchase 2 lovely coloured crabs, suited the star signs! 😀 All in all a lovely place to visit and purchase a wee momentum! 👀👍

Amazing find!!!

We discovered this shop after finding a few pieces of pottery from there in a nearby cafe, and we couldn't believe how beautiful and well-priced they were for handmade pieces. The waitress informed us that they were indeed made just down the road so we went to check it out....so glad we did!! A lovely little shop and Laura is so friendly. We hung out for a long time just chatting. Her dogs are wonderful as well so if you like meeting dogs you must go there! She helped us find exactly the souvenir we were looking for. One of the high points of our visit for sure.
