Excellent walk for families and anyone except the most unfit. From the car park, about 1km along the beach then up some stairs and then 1.2km along the cape to the lookout - a gentle slope most of the way. Took us about 1 hr 10 from car park back to car park. No shade.

The cape is really beautiful and the beach as well. Good for viewing the pinnacles, but it was quite crowded at the time. Check out the times when it's less crowded.

you need to hike to it via cape woolamai beach, although google map makes it appear as if you can drive to it. well, the truth is you can drive to it if the dune road ("management track") is open. it is gated, and seemingly always closed, and even if it's open, you need a proper 4x4 vehicle to traverse the track
so visit here, with enough time to walk on the beach, and ideally during low tide.

Good short walk. Beautiful views! Definitely worth it. Wasn’t sure whether to where sneakers or sandals as half of the walk is sand across the beach. Decided on sneakers and regretted it. If you go on a hot day wear your bathers under your clothes so you can take a quick dip as soon as you come down the hill, it gets hot!

My wife and I walked 2.2 km from the car park at Cape Woolamai Beach to this place to enjoy the exercise and the scenic views. The first 1.2 km walk is on the sandy beach. The next 1 km walk is on a hiking trail.
When we reached The Pinnacles Lookout, we took several photographs and enjoyed the fantastic scenery before walking back to our car.
The Spring weather was excellent during our visit.

The Pinnacles are a natural granite colonade; it is quite spectacular, They are lashed by surf; you can see the Pinnacles on the south side of Cape Woolamai. The pink Woolamai granite is quite picturesque. You may have to walk, but it's worth it.

I did the 24kms walk and it was sensational even though it was such a foggy day but yet still very beautiful like walking in the clouds. The coastline is remarkable. You can do shorter walks if you wish and still get to see the Pinnacles which was very stunning, the ocean view was amazing and there was even couple of people were out surfing. As you walk further around, the ocean and view changes and you can see for miles and miles along the coast. Highly recommend, take a small picnic and stop on top of the cliff (any cliff), sit and admire. There are bench seats dotted along the way if you would rather. This is a breathtaking walk and a must do.

A must walk with grandiose scenery.Fantastic granit pinnacles,intense blue waves, beautiful surf beach.

Completed full Cape Woolamai walk (8.5kms) Pinnacles, Beacon, Lookout and Quarry. Absolutely brilliant scenery from start to finish. Some beach walking beginning and finish, so beware of tide. Generally an easy walk but has some steps and steepish grades.

We did the 10klm walk and it was sensational, such a beautiful sunny day in June and the coastline is remarkable. The walk is quite long and starts along the beach and then climbing up a set of wooden steps. The walk from there to the lookout is exposed and could be windy so wear waterproof jackets especially in June which is winter.
