Really moving to see this piece of Montenegrin/Yugoslav history. Shame gate was locked and information kiosk not open when we went. Also not really on the map - we only knew about it because someone mentioned it and it was a bit hard to find.

As a history nerd, I am glad to see such a fitting place for a country's hero's. These people laid down their lives for their country and their fellow man and they should have a place to be remembered.

Great memorial

Easy walk from the city center, this is a quiet place, manned by an old man in hat who tells lots of stories and sells souvenirs. Very well maintained and clean place. I sat there for sometime just looking around in a peaceful place.

Very moving

Whenever I come with a group to Kolasin I contact the person who is responsible on the cemetery. He is a very nice person who opens the place for us. It is always very moving. We come from Israel and once I had in my group a relative of one of the partisans who is buried there. We made a special ceremony and sang partisan songs.
