Spectacular!

Was there in late October. Great time. Awesome thunderstorms but we went anyway! Sat in the parking lot and watched the lightning over the water. Everyone left. Storm died down. We hiked down to the cobble and pebble beach. Just us and a young couple from France. Surf was very noisy on the steep beach. Bring your water shoes. The swimming was excellent. Had to leave when storm rolled in again, but treated to double rainbow over the sea on the way back! Definitely worth visiting.You won't forget this place.

A hidden little paradise

If you are driving an automatic car and are not very familiar, please reconsider your trip. Road is very narrow. It made me dizzy and I have to stop to pray. You have to park you car and walk about 25 minutes up and down to this small beach with no sand but stones. Wear plastic shoes, my advice. Water is cold but delicious. You caan see tons of little fish and some not so little. Take water and food, since there is only a small truck at the entrance of The Reserve. Wonderful view and great for snorkeling. Free parking and four euros the entrance.

Beautiful Hidden Gem

A beautiful pebble beach with clear and clean water to swim in. Perfect for relaxing on the beach. Make sure you take water shoes, fly spray (wasps around the area) and plenty of water. Access to the nature reserve is 5 Euros each.

Spectacular views and hidden beaches

The natural reserve "dello Zingaro" is a typical example of the rugged Sicilian coast, with steep mountains and nice, well-kept trails. Hiking along the coast you will find caves, pristine beaches and old cabins and stone houses. Very worthwhile, especially in May, as it is still quiet.
