The tour and tasting were excellent. They are very passionate about the land, the wine, and the vineyard. The tapas was excellent and they were very generous with the wines. We bought one of everything we tasted.

We spent a beautiful October morning visiting Quinta dos Capinhas for a vineyard tour and wine tasting.
It was perfect from start to finish and João was a wonderful and knowledgeable host.
The food was amazing and the wine exceptional (we bought some bottles to take home) and the scenery breathtaking.
A truly beautiful family run business, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Lovely afternoon in this family-run vineyard. Our guide was friendly and informative. The wine was tasty and the meat and cheese plate provided was more than a generous portion. Highly enjoyed this experience.

Lovely experience. Wonderful wine, incredible food, guests, and hosts, Jaoa and Letícia Capinha (apologies for any misspelling). Also some very lovely guests in the group.
Wonderful value for money, food was exceptional. Tried many wines. Jazz band were also excellent. We will be back next year

We had a lovely time at this vineyard. Joao made us feel very welcome, including when we arrived early, and was very knowledgeable. The tour of the vineyard was just the right length and the wine tasting and tapas (or petisco in Portuguese!) was excellent. Plenty of time was allocated and we weren’t rushed. I have already recommended the visit to others. We were disappointed not to be there when one of the evening events was being run but maybe another time!

I would highly recommend this tour to a small vineyard in a lovely setting. Joao , one of the family, was utterly charming, engaging and very willing to share his knowledge. We tried 5 different style wines and enjoyed a beautifully presented selection of meats and cheeses to accompany ( provided by Joao’s mother). A very pleasant way to spend a morning.

The views of the vineyard were great, the host was very professional, kind and most of all passionate about the wines. The wines tasted amazing and overall the tour exceeded expectations.

My husband and I enjoyed the lovely tour, delicious charcuterie board and wine tastings. Beautiful and tranquil location. Highly recommend.

The joining instructions were perfect.
Very hot day but precautions were put in place for us all in the way of umbrellas and water fans to ensure we are remained cool. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The 5 wines that we tasted were of a very high standard and we were given a generous amount. The cheese and meat platter that we were given was beautiful and matched the wine so well. The vin-yard looks beautiful and you can see the pride that the family take in keeping it looking so lovely. Please take the tour, you won’t be disappointed.
