Good place to buy fruits and cheap clothes

Every Thursday in Roquetas de Mar,outside of center.Buses go there ,it is opposite of Plaza,big shopping center.Worth a visit to buy fruits,good prices,choice which you dont have in shops.Very cheap clothes,mostly made in China.

Market for the Locals

Great local Market, really busy and crowded with locals shopping. Amazing fruit and vegetables as you would expect, some good bargins to be had and bits of tourist bric a brac. Also has the best churos ever.

Busy and bustling, full of bargains. Clothes, food, leather goods,jewellery. Couple of pop up cafes and takeaways. Well worth sifting through and haggling over prices. Must visit if in Roquetas de mar..very few English speakers so brush up on your Spanish..people really appreciate it. Plus the beautiful beach is a 5min stroll to freshen up after the heat of the market!

Me and the family visited on Thursday and very glad we did! Came home with some bargains and the kids were very happy with their new sunglasses and watches. Happy kids.. happy parents ! Highly recommend

An enjoyable stroll through the market but little to buy!

Mainly set out for the locals with excellent fruit and veg stalls and cheap clothing. Nothing hand made or of quality to represent the area.

Reminds me bit of fire market

If you staying locally it's worth visit if you like cheap flee market type of clothes or fruit/ veg.
They got some really pretty baby clothes and blankets so if you after some nice baby stuff worth visit. Shopping mall is just opposite and also bull fighting arena about 5 minutes away, sea world about 10 min walk. Good for half or full day trip.

The Street Market in Roquetas De Mar is held every Thursday from 10am-2pm. It sells anything & everything & is well worth a visit. It is interesting watching the locals fighting for clothing on stalls charging 2 euros per item. I found myself doing exactly the same on a stall selling 3 items of jewellery for 1 euro! I bought a necklace & 2 bracelets. The necklace alone was priced 7 euros on the back. I have received lots of compliments when wearing them back home. There is also a large fruit & veg market there, everything fresh & cheap. Tip: Go about 12.30pm when it is less busy.
