Disappointed to see that the sun beds, managed by Sun Nauta, are double the price they were in our last visit. The beds are always untidy and the staff literally have nothing to say. In ‘the old days’, the guy was very friendly. Maybe the girls working here now could be taught a lesson or two in hospitality.

Beautiful area of amazing coastal rock formations and outstanding beaches. The area can look amazing at sunrise or sunset.
Wear sturdy footwear as the paths can be rocky.

What a glorious beach!

Maybe it was the light when we were there but the go,den sandy beach which stretched a long way towards Lagos was quite special. Such lovely fine sand. Highly recommended!

Best beach ever

It was amazing. A train took us there from Pestana blue alvor for free or there was a quick five minute walk over the road on a bridge from our hotel. There was two restaurants and a smaller Pestana hotel on the beach. A little bar and a nice walk down and along the beach. Very nice beach I loved it!

This beach is next to Praia dos Três Irmãos and is bigger and very wide. Is very turistic and massive.

Long lonely beach

I walked the full length of the beach, really nice, barely anyone around...but saw a couple of big jellyfish, watch out if you go for a swim here!

Lovely little place!

We took the bus here when staying in Do Vau. There are lots of restaurants, shops and bars here serving a while host of different things.

Involved in the rescue of a kite surfer that was getting swept away in the strong winds. The locals didn't seem too bothered but did eventually call an ambulance and the coastguard - after he had been rescued!

Simply gorgeous

What a great spot, tucked away in a residential area and resort. Loved it. Parking is hard to find and can be quite tight if you get to the end of the road. We ate at Cancino, a definite must. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful beach

We walked this beach to the cliffs many days as it is so beautiful! In winter there’s no swimming but on a hot day kids were playing in the water!
