Salvo is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who can tailor your excursion to your party’s needs. I was on a family trip with my 80 yr old mother, and he helped design the perfect 1/2 day itinerary. The boat is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It has a sunbathing area large enough for 3 people to lie down, comfy cushions, and a shaded area (a must in Sicily even in the early fall). Salvo has snorkeling equipment, refreshments and is very respectful of his passengers’ space (not one of those guides that never stop talking). He showed us the best spots to swim and was extremely attentive to ensure our comfort and safety. I strongly recommend his boat over the larger boats that load up 12-15 people for what might seem like a bargain but often disappoint (if you have 15 min stop for a swim but have to get 15 ppl on and off a boat, you barely have 1 min in the water if you’re last in).
And don’t forget to ask him about tips on where to buy Passito wine and Sicilian capers!!

When visiting a new island, the boat ride is mandatory. Me, my wife Maria Teresa and my 13-year-old son, usually tend to break away from organized tours and always look for who can make us do a personalized route at an affordable price.
Personalized means being able to choose the time, for example, or stay longer in the coves or even being able to talk to those who Guide the boat and learn anecdotes that otherwise you would never know.
Well, with Ri Pa Tours of Salvo we had all these things and in absolute safety.
Highly recommended. :)

It was a really enjoyable experience!
My boyfriend and I are very pleased with the ride made, the Guide and the explanations we were given.
In addition, the Guide, knowing our passion for the seabed, took us to places with spectacular backdrops and also made us visit, by swimming, the inside of a cave.
Tour with him super recommended!

We met Salvo three years ago through our hotel reception. This is the third consecutive year that we return, and the highlight of our holiday is always the boat trip with Salvo.
Salvo is a nice, careful and cautious man – a golden man. He knows the island and the sea perfectly. Each time he takes the time to show us the most beautiful places on the island from the sea and to let us swim. He makes sure our family excursion is more than perfect.
Salvo takes no risks and always chooses the best times to go out on the boat. It is always honest if the conditions are not optimal. If you come to Vulcano, do not hesitate to book a boat trip with Salvo. It is worth it and is not comparable to other excursions where you are just a number. With Salvo you are yourself and your day becomes unforgettable!

Beautiful private trip around the island on the beautiful Salvo gozzo. He kind, prepared and extremely available to settle on everything. Beautiful day and experience, with also fresh fruit, biscuits, water and prosecco. Recommended for those who do not feel like getting on the boats with dozens of other people and want a more intimate and true experience.

Eager for a suggestive experience we contacted Salvo (his billboard is displayed on the main street of the center of Vulcano) who kindly explained and proposed a ride on his boat to admire a wonderful sunset among the stacks of the Aeolian Islands. Friendly and helpful, Salvo reassured us immediately and allowed us to take beautiful baths in the turquoise waters of the Aeolian archipelago among the colors of the marine fauna and rock formations that characterize the landscape. All accompanied by an aperitif with local rustic and good white wine. Highly recommended.

Beautiful tour of the island of Vulcano, very comfortable boat, Salvo, very helpful, accompanied us on a tour of the island without stress, long bath breaks, delicious fresh fruit and malvasia. If you go to Vulcano and want to take a boat tour of the island contact him, the best choice (other tours include only 2 hours and quick bathing stops).

Salvo is a great captain, with his boat will take you to discover the coasts of Vulcano and neighboring islands. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset at the Lipari stacks. Nice and professional will make your experience unique on board meeting your needs. Highly recommended. We are the second year that we confirm with him our boat trips to the Aeolian Islands.
