A really nicely laid out port

Neat and tidy tidal port well laid out. Clean and efficient facilities. Restaurants around the port. Large supermarket on the North side right on the part. Various chandlers directly at hand on the quaysides. Plenty of parking. Access to Quiberon Bay and the Gulf de Morbihan.

A lovely port to visit

Out of season this pleasure port is very enjoyable. There are lots of shops offering local products and many restaurants. The port is with easy walking distance to the beach where you can find aquatic sports activities. Parking is relatively easy.

Lovely little seaside resort

It's small but has everything you need - restaurants, bars, shops, great little bakery. The port is buzzing and its a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach that even on sunny days never seems to feel that crowded. Friendly place, very French and charming

EXPANSIVE MARINA.......................................

Large, crowded Port marina filled with very expensive sailing vessels. Port includes shops, restaurants ans speciality

A cosmopolitan destination

The place is stunning and smells of elegance and money! Many very expensive yachts are berthed in the beautiful Marina. There is ample parking and ideal to go for a stroll. We visited on the 04th April 2019 and although there are many restaurants around the Marina, all seemed to be closed in the mid afternoon which was a gret shame as it was a sunny day! There is a Captainery Building which had a bar /restaurant. There was a sign at the bottom of the stairs leading to it saying it was open, however after a steep climb on reaching the top , it was closed! This is inexcusable for such an upmarket location-hence a three star review!

Good stop before the Morbihan

We’ve now been here 3 times. The first time for 2 nights, then twice for 1 night. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants, having the supermarket close by is great and it’s a good place to wait for the tide to set off into the Morbihan. It’s a huge and very busy marina, so expect to be rafted up on the visitors pontoon. We actually got a berth on a finger pontoon this visit, but only because we thought we may stay longer.
Capitanerie staff meet you on arrival and allocate places.
The loos and showers are a little tired, but usable if you don’t mind no toilet seat and shared facilities. We haven’t found any laundry facilities yet but it’s probably a long way around from where we are!
A bit expensive for what it is but the staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice for dog walks and lovely sunsets over the Biscay!

Never seen so many boats

This is a paradise for those who sail an enormous Port lined with restaurants, bars and shops selling local produce. The other side of the Port has walks by the Ocean.

Nice marina

This is a very modern marina compared to some of the quaint harbours in Brittany. We found it easy to get to by bike but there is plenty of parking for cars. The marina is quite extensive with lots of boats of all sizes and makes for a pleasant stroll. There are some shops and plenty of cafes. Also, there is a street market with a range of stalls. Well worth a visit and there are other waterside places in the vicinity if you explore further.

Parade of boats

We enjoyed watching the ballet of boats coming in for the night - especially on the weekend. The port has spots for 1500 boats, but is not overwhelming.

Nice marina, difficult to get to.

Not a lot to see here, did not justify the long drive. Used this as a stop off between Poitiers and Mont St Michel. A bit touristy, OK if you have a boat there. Should have stayed in Vannes.
