Went to Fule Mountain by myself on a sunny afternoon Bus No. 58 literally get you there - just one bridge away The stairs at the front gate was intimidating, but if your feet are not what they used to be, just turn left, and at the end of the block, you will find a much easier entrance There are transport a the top of the stairs that will take you up to the top of the mountain, for 5 yuan, it is well worth it, save your energy for better enjoyment. It was a good view of the city from the top, small eatery places lined both side of the street. A good place to seat around for people watching. Skip the sliding cart down at the top of the hill, unless you walked all the way up and now totally exhausted. Take a slow stroll down the hill, spend some time admiring the different forms of Chinese Calligraphy carved on stone. Right across from the Calligraphy Stone Forest is a small gallery of Chinese paintings. Continue down the hill and there is a small lake on your left, good place to stop and have a break. There are a lot of place where you can seat down and have a glass of tea, either regular green tea, or flower tea. I preferred the one in Yu Yuan, with a small pond right at the middle. I spent over an hour there, relaxing and enjoying life away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Your visit can be big, it can also be small, depending on how much time do you want to spend the time there and how much energy do you have. All in all, it is a spacious place, tranquility is the main point. when you are done with your visit, there are a lot of eating places right at the foot of the mountain, a good place to stroll along before you decide which one you want for your next meal

The most famous mountain in Mianyang
Jan 2019 • Keluarga
In this winter vacation, my family and I went back to our hometown----Mianyang, Sichuan province. We climbed the most famous mountain in Minayang----Fule mountain. The scene up there was really beautiful. We took a lot of photos. There are a lot of snacks on the top of the mountain too.We ate the hot and sour rice noodles. It's really famous in Mianyang.Although it was spicy,we still enjoyed it.Of course, we learnt a lot of new things too, like the story of the Three Kingdoms. It was hard to remember everything happened to the characters in the story, but it was really interesting if we treat it like a fun story. It was my first time to visit the mountain, but I promise it won't be the last time.

Lovely Park and Temple
Mar 2017 • Bisnis
Stayed at the hotel next to the park and went for a stroll. It was end of March so the trees were in bloom and flowers planted so it was quite pretty. Although I could not go into the temple, it was pretty enough to walk around. As other reviwers mentioned, there is a luge ride you can take down the moutain. It looked fun but I did not want to chance a broken arm. The park was very walkable but there aresome steep steps up to the temple. Overall the moutnain was very peaceful and uncrowded, a nice departure from being in town.

Excellent views of the city from the top of the mountain.

It is probably best to walk to the top of the mountain. This will allow you to enjoy the sights along the way. These sights include a beautiful lake, and the stone tablets. On a clear day you will have views of the city, and the mountains in the distance. I was amazed by the silence, so close to the city but I only heard the occaisional siren from fire engines and police cars.

Charming and refreshing
Jun 2015 • Teman
The day my friends invited me to climb the Fule Mountain I was not feeling well and tired after a very hard week at the office. My plan for the Sunday was to sleep tight andcwatch TV or surfing Facebook. However, I did decide to hive it a try. At least, I had something different to do. It was a wonderful experience. The scenary was charming and the walk was not hard as the pathway was made easy to manage for unfit visitors like myself. My suggestion is when you start climbing even if your legs get hard and tired do not stop on the way keep walking. If you stop it will become harder and harder to reach the top. I am going back there soon but this time I will be fitter.

nice park for strolls
Mar 2015 • Bisnis
Pros: It's small enough to walk around it in an hours time, you can view the city from the top of the pagoda. In spring time there are lots of colorful flower displays.
Cons: it's not a destination, the snack/tea shops do not clean up the tourists' tea cups and peanut shells and these were littered everywhere

Beautiful garden and a pagoda
Jan 2015 • Teman
That sums it up I'd say! It's a nice park (it's huge, there is also a ZOO which I didn't visit, and a big slide which I didn't try), where you can enjoy a cup of tea and game of majiang on a nice day, or climb up the pagoda and look around (unless it's smoggy and you don't see almost anything, that's what happened to us). There is no entrance fee, so that's nice... I think it's a good place if you wanna get out of the city rush but stay in the city at the same time...

Beautiful temple and garden
Agt 2013 • Bisnis
I was here on business staying in the hotel on top of the mountain and had some spare time so we walked down here and had a stroll. Pretty much everything is in Chinese, but luckily for us we had a Chinese colleague with us who could explain some of the symbolic meanings. She also informed us that they have concerts and plays here some evening. Unfortunately we couldn't attend one.

Even without the translation help it is still worth a visit. The temple is beautiful and and so is the garden. Very calming. If you walk in after 5pm (I think it was) it is for free, otherwise there is a symbolic charge.
