Came here Saturday night with my girlfriends—hung out in their outdoor rooftop deck area. They have some cute holiday decor so you can take photos! They also have winter igloos—we were able to get a table in one of them—there is a $50 minimum spend per person. Overall the igloos were cute but the tables felt jammed too close to each other.
For snacks, we got the Guacamole & Chips and a side of French Fries—both pretty good. For cocktails, there’s a good selection to choose from! I tried the Frozen Pina Colada and Mojito—both were okay, not much alcohol in them. My friends enjoyed the Apple Cider and Caramel Cream Martini!

This might have been the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I want to start off my saying our server Mitsy was lovely and was not the issue atal but …
It was mine and my boyfriends last night in NYC and we really wanted to book a sky bar to enjoy views of the city. We had pre-paid £140 to book an igloo with a set 3 course meal.
The first thing to happen was a rude security guard downstairs demanding ID as we entered the building.
Secondly the igloo is made out of cheap plastic and you can’t see through it so completely pointless for a sky bar.
Thirdly the door on the igloo was made out of heavy metal and made the loudest clashing noise everytkme people came in and out, completely ruining any kind of ambiance.
After all of this I was just praying the food would be good but I had to send back my steak TWICE due to it being well done and tough when I asked for med-rare. (Later in the night I overheard the manager telling another table that the steaks were all frozen and this is why the steaks are tough)
As my partner had already eaten by the time my second steak came out wrong I then said I didn’t want to eat anymore food.
The whole experience was ruined. OH AND MEANWHILE whilst all of this was happening there was people with cameras constantly trying to come into the igloo, take pictures of us and then ask for money. So unprofessional and awkward.
When I complained to both my waitress and her extremely unhelpful, dismissive manager they said there was nothing they could do due to the owners being away. So we were basically ripped off £140 just to have our last night in NYC ruined.
Honestly gutted.

I love going to a rooftop bar so was excited when I came across this one. All was going well until we got to the bar and waited 5 minutes before the bartender served someone who came after us. This bartender then told us we were queuing in the wrong place (not sure how as it's a bar and only about 5 customers there anyway). His tone was so rude. I ordered our drinks and decided not to tip (for the first time in the 5 days we have been here) as he just didn't deserve my money. He was clearly annoyed and said "you not tipping?". My answer was a simple "no". He made our drinks and told me never to come back again!!! It's a shame such a nice bar in a great location had such awful employees. Good service goes a long way!

If you love bad service put this in your list. Bar tenders didn’t want to lower themselves to serve you, just chatted and ignored customers. Great views but won’t be back plenty of other bars with views.

Years ago, it was a select roof top, no sneakers, no shorts, fancy one. Now it's a touristic attraction, you can come with the same outfit than for a beach tour! But the view is still amazing. Drinks are expensive, but now, you dont need to drink to access the rooftop, you can just go there, take pictures and leave. But be careful, it's not on the 5th any more, it a few block further ;)

The View was amazing music, atmosphere. Our server was terrible never came back to table after being summoned. Everything got taken out at once ,Food and was very bland, plain stale food. Server waited for tip after told we would tip ,still had drinks on table . It was my girl birthday…… drove all the way from Washington D.c to get treated like my money was not green. Wow never in my life had been treated like I am less than a person.

The rooftop has a good vibe.. however the downstairs service is horribly rude and the technology used is so out of date that you will be charge for 25% gratuity after tipping in cash and clicking “no tip” on the screen. After this happened the bartender never apologized and was very rude (not that she was polite to begin with, but that is to be expected in NYC). She insisted I would get my money back but it took 45 minutes for a manager to come see me. Never mind the fact she told me “she was busy”(as in the manager) and it took a woman not minding her own business and being loud for a male manager to come take the tip off my bill.. the receipt given to me shows and no refunded tip. The bathrooms are filthy, drinks are undrinkable, and “no entry fee” shown online is a lie.. I don’t recommend the establishment because although aesthetic, it is not worth the aggravation. The only people with manners in the facility are those manning the elevators.. best of luck to them. I hope you have a better experience than I did if you choose to attend.

Very disappointed here: booked and paid for food. Had no ID with us to get in. We don’t drink but staff would not listen. No refund. They were dreadful to deal with. Email I sent after was not acknowledged. Very unprofessional. Quite rude we thought. They stole $125 dollars basically.

Only giving a one cause the view was nice, was actually having a pleasant evening with my partner until I encountered the super bad ill mannered barman. We decided to get a night cap I was in the queue and ordered our drinks he took payment first in which on this occasion I didn’t tip give a tip and his reaction was a disgrace by saying ‘you say thank you to me but don’t tip me, you don’t know nothing about the culture here’ and was shaking his head the whole time he was making the drinks which were so bad by the way my 2 year old nephew could have made it better…
The crazy thing is I went to the bar five times during the course of the night and out of the five I gave them four tips bearing in mind this rooftop bar ain’t cheap at all, I will always tip if the service is good but what service do you get here where you have to go to the bar wait in the queue and take the drinks back yourself? Some service that is and you start crying like a little baby cause you didn’t get a tip on this occasion? Maybe he should learn some culture about being a humble person. You are paid to make drinks and that’s all you did and you couldn’t even get that right cause they were awful and we paid over £30 for these two basic drinks. This man shouldn’t be working in the hospitality sector at all and whoever reads this stay away from the guy with long hair which is tide back. He is a disgrace - wish I can say more about this barman but I’ll keep it PG for TripAdvisor. Just an awful barman.

Yes. Elevator to the rooftop and it seems like a wheelchair will work…..but it gets very busy!
