What a fun place to hangout! We had beautiful weather so we hung out outside playing corn hole. We had so much fun, we came back the next day and to our surprise there was a wood chopping competition sponsored by Stihl chainsaw. Made the day even more fun. Highly recommend this place. And the beer was super!

Great food, beer and service. Absolutely delicious food! We had ribs and pulled pork! This restaurant was very COVID friendly, super clean and great customer service! We were outside and much more than 6 ft apart from other families.

At 5:10 on a Sunday afternoon we were told we needed reservations or had to wait 40 minutes to sit outside. See photo for why that was ridiculous.

Beer good,but food was terrible.

We stopped in after a day of hiking and were looking for a good meal. Masks and distancing were in order. We were seated in 10 minutes which was super, but the server seemed to be on break and came for our beer order after 15 minutes (after we requested a server). We order our food directly and only waited 20 minutes or so, which was normal. But! The food (ribs and schnitzel with potato salad) was super dried out, like it had sat for half a day and it was cold. (I have never had such dried out food. I won't eat there again. So, go drink a beer but eat elsewhere.

Ate here with friends and the food was okay - not great, but it did not suck. Our server Karen (?) was super busy but she kept checking with us and she was friendly and courteous. My crab cakes came with a tasty rémoulade and mediocre fries. The coleslaw was great, though. My husband's ribs were dry and chewy, and our friend's bratwursts were tasty but skimpy on the mustard and sauerkraut. The key lime pie was good, but the cherry glaze was bland and tasteless. I wasn't drinking, but everyone else at the table was happy with their beers. I probably wouldn't go out of the way to eat here again.

The food, beer, and service were all really great! We had the slow cooked brisket meal and it was mouth watering delicious. This place is huge. We sat outside under a covered area and were able to enjoy a beautiful scenery surrounding our table. Hubby and I really enjoyed our time here. The staff made it even more memorable being very attentive and helpful.

Great atmosphere and food. Son wanted to go there a get beer glasses as he had in past for $2 after using them but they discontinued that deal.

Hurt D. was amazing! The food itself was mediocre, but he made up for that in service. Literally, because of this guy we will be coming back in the opening for breakfast! Love the commitment to customer service.

We just happended to be traveling through and a couple we met suggested we stop by Devils Backbone Basecamp Brewpub and meadows. We had already eaten but thought we would drop by the brewpub have a beer and move on. WOW!!! Way more than a Brewpub here. They really have something for just about everyone, nice out door bar with a great fire pit. The Distillery has great drinks, I had the Elder Frost, really wonderful. They have the Shanty for bourbon drinkers and they sell cigars there as well so get a bourbon and cigar and sit by the fire pit. This is a huge complex with a place for breakfast and coffee. This was absolutely an amazing place. We spent about 4 hours there just relaxing before getting back on the road as we still had several hours of driving left. No not drinkinng and driving and we did spend several hours just sitting. Beautiful area. We have already decided to go back in the spring and stay a few nights.
