Beautiful park on the Bodensee. Next to the railway station and the port. It's interesting to note that on the other side of the lake is Germany. Imagine what it was like being in Romanshorn in the 1940s knowing that the German scum on the other side were plotting and actively trying to destroy the world and germanize it, It's a shame the swiss didn't build a wall in the middle of the lake so germans should have no access to switzerland,, but luckily they didnt invade in the end

Took a day trip to Romanshorn and enjoyed a sunny day strolling through this picturesque park. A pretty place to explore. Even though it was off season, there was one bathroom that was open.

Easy to park and walk around. Lovely church and castle next door. Beautiful lake close by with fountain and lots of sailing boats in the marina.

A very short walk from the train station, I deciding to stop off here to change trains on my may from St Gallen to Konstantz. I bought some bread rolls, salad, and deli meat from a nearby supermarket and chilled out on the grass looking out over the lake. Very relaxing and not many people around. I recommend it.

Nice place for a picnic. Parking and toilet available. Near restaurant and port. Great view over the lake .. quiet area most of the time. Good place to relax

The Romanshorn see Park is located right across the Harbour and can be reached in 8-10 mins via the Train station. Ships ply regularly at every hour to Freidrichhafen on the German side and then there are also the small ships/boats which can be hired personally. From the Train station, you can literally reach anywhere in Switzerland, Austria or Germany.
The See Park has something to offer for everyone like the Charming Scenic Beauty of Birds chirping and flying close to the shore, the mini adventure park for kids, jogging/cycle track for runners/bikers, the unique metal statues and iron structures close to the lake and of-course the sight of Zeppelins flying above your head.
For the Foodies, there are quite a few decent restaurants from Fast-food to Dine-in. But you can also find ample space to plan and get your picnic going if you are with kids.

The See Park at Romanshorn is located right across the Train Station and few minutes walk from the Romanshorn Harbour. You can reach Romanshorn via ship from Friedrichhafen in Germany or via Train literally from everywhere in Austria/Germany.
The place is pretty well planned with something in for all ages of people giving it an absolutely inviting, relaxing and scenic feeling. There are quite a few good Restaurants around the Harbour.

It is a beautiful park by the lake with some art installations. It is pleasant and relaxing to walk there. If you have a little more time, you can also sit on a bench there. There are a few cafes, restaurants and pubs in the area. There is also a children's playground nearby.
