I think it's a bit crazy you have to pay to climb a little hill to see a rock. We did like it though, but parking + 2 adults was 9 Euro if I remember correctly. And you need to be vaccinated! to climb a rock in the outdoors? how crazy can they get???

Try it! The wind through the bear mouth will keep you speechless and bring the awareness of Mother Nature power.
The boys loved it but you must follow the rules! Pretty scary as the wind is very gusty .

Spectacular view! Not sure I agree it is a bear, but the view worth every second of the stay. In case you are driving use paid parking, very convenient.

Strangely shaped, coroded by hydrolisis. The view above is fantastic. The bear itself is huge though you cannot see its shape as you are too close.

You pay €3 each to walk up to the famous bear, but incredibly they don't allow you to stand on the view point from which all the photos are taken and the only point from which is actually looks like a bear. So you get to stand beside and under the bear but the rocks don't look anything like a bear from anywhere you are actually allowed to go. For the braver who jump the barrier you can get the famous shot but you aren't strictly allowed to do it. Views of Palau and around are lovely but that's about it. A real shame they don't invest in putting stairs/a bridge to the viewing point.

We try twice to see it. The second time we mange to get in but it was not for long. It start to rain and the employers send us out quickly because they dind't want the responsibility if someone get injured.

Well worth the short drive from Palau town.
Parking €3 and a couple of euros each to enter the attraction.
Not a difficult walk up but plenty of breaks to read the geological, flora/ fauna and history of the area.
Once on top you are blessed with the spectacular Sardinian coastline and the surrounding islands and on a good day maybe Corsica.
If in the area well worth a visit

Good site to visit provided you do it early in the day. There is a steady climb to the top, you need to be reasonably fit. Once you reach the top with the bear formation the views all around are fantastic. The parking charge is 3 euros, plus 3 euros each to climb the hill. We found the staff very helpful, informative and welcoming.

Liked this very much and could really see the bear shape. We went at sunset which was gorgeous and an easy climb.
Going to this sight really helps you get your bearings if you are staying in Palau and gives you great views of the mainland and island.
There are also some sweet pics of local wildlife and plants (including the cute and humble ‘least weasel’). We went at sunset and really did see the bear shape.
