Back again always beautiful food. Very busy so had to wait for the food but it’s always worth the wait… beautiful place to come and relax and eat. It’s a hidden gem and a credit to the owners.

Visited today with our three boys (age 14, 12 and 9). Really enjoyed it - nice staff and nice cafe (good coffee) to boot.

Came with two kids. They loved it. Spent about four hours trying to catch trout. Caught two. Food and drinks was lovely. Dog was welcome. Would go back again l

We’ve visited several times before, for a delicious Welsh Breakfast, some fishing for the kids nd a slice of beautiful cake! Staff are so friendly and helpful, and I love our visits here, we caravan locally and visit here 3 times a year from aril to September and are never disappponted, a quiet, quality day out with my family (aged 5, 12 and 13)

well what can i say about this fishery it is my favourite place to fish in uk the welcome of tom and his wife is second to none . i first fished eisteddfa 12yrs ago and have tried to visit at least twice every year since camping on the site next door or doing a overnight fish on the lakes . I have enjoyed the place that much I have looked at moving to the area from manchester as everywhere i visit there the locals have been so welcoming . back to the fishery the fishing is brilliant ive been there in all weathers and always caught fish from little roach to 15lb carp i cannot praise tom and wife enough in past ive brought my two small children who now are adults and have always felt welcome and enjoyed there fishing at eisteddfa a big thank you and see you in june when i bring my small school group down . craig

Excellent place to spend a couple of hours with your children (6 and 8). If you have no previous fishing experience, the staff are on hand to give you some advice and provide a demo. Within minutes the kids had caught a few fish and they loved every minute! There are quiet areas too for more experienced fishing.
We also spent time eating in the cafe, the food and staff were also excellent!

A damp and drizzly day brought us on an excursion to the fishery. I (mum) wasn't too keen, but my other half (dad) told me I could sit in the cafe with my book and watch them fish!
The cafe on one side overlooks the kid's fishing pond, and I believe the other side overlooks one of the coarse fishing lakes.
Dad sorted the bait and rod hire for our male and female twins (aged 5) and daughter (aged 6).
The guy hiring out the equipment really patiently explained use of the kit, threaded on some maggots and the kids got fishing. He remained available throughout our visit and was chatty and friendly. Once us adults got the hang of baiting the hooks, and unhooking caught fish, he took a step back.
A picture guide is provided so you can identify all the tiddlers that get caught.
This activity kept the kids occupied for well over half hour, despite the incessant drizzle.
The cafe and rest facilities inside are very clean and kept well.
We'll definitely recommend this place to anyone we know staying near the Snowdon National Park or Llyn Peninsula.
Very good wheelchair access, there are several wooden pontoons ending at the water's edge around the pond with a raised lip at the end for safety.
Not an activity recommended for vegans or children who are likely to try to step into the pond.

really nice cafe and shop fishing a bit hard but will be back theres a number of differant lakes i fished the pleasure lake only caught two fish but still enjoyed the experance

Having been pestered to go fishing by my youngest son for an eternity we went to for a day to Eisteddfa with a family friend. What a great day we had so much so my son who is 7 wants to go again the next day. There is three lakes for different levels of fishing and they supply all the tackle and bait. Also there is a cafe serving food and hot drinks. It really is a value for money activity and even in the cold of late October it was a great day out
