I can't thank the entire team at West Coast Motors enough for the planning support and the service they provided. Thanks for Liz & Michele for their patience and flexibility during the planning/booking process. During the trip, David, our driver, was the best. We enjoyed our week in Scotland aboard a pristine and comfortable motor coach.

A great way to see Bute.

By chance we caught the very last bus tour of the 2022 season. We were on a sailing trip on the West Coast and had a shore day in Rothesay. The upper deck was a great way to see the island. Our enjoyment was increased by the informative commentary from Ian, our driver. He was friendly and helpful.
Great value trip and strongly recommended

Open top Bute bus tour

The best part of the bus tour of Bute was Iain the driver,as well as the scenery! His knowledge and description of what we were looking at made everything come to life- much better than just riding round in the car. We toured on the last day of the season and were the last customers of the year off the bus but he was still very happy to talk with us! Long may the tour exist!

Wonderful trip around Bute

Taking the bus tour is a wonderful way to not only see the beautiful island of Bute but also to learn so much about it. Iain, bus driver and tour guide, was very informative, amusing and friendly. There were only a few of us on board and half way round, Iain came and spoke with us to ask if we were enjoying the trip and also enquire if there was anything about the island we wanted to ask him. Great 90 minutes - good value for money - and very enjoyable

Great sightseeing trip on hop on hop off bus

Good way of seeing main sights on Bute. The driver, Iain, was excellent, extremely informative, welcoming and friendly.

Just back from a great weekend in rothsay best part off our holiday was our trip on the sight seeing bus I asked Iain shout out happy birthday to my dad which he did a lovely we message added laughter with it no job to small Iain is a lovely guy accommodating ur every need explains in great detail as a guide I would high recommend it for all families couples and events thanks Iain was a special trip

Must do tour on Bute

Iain ,the tour bus driver,was first class, excellent commentary which made out trip to Bute much more interesting, we have recommended the tour to other guests in our hotel

Surprised visit to vacation island new Glasgow

We arrived on a Seabourn cruise with not much planned and happened to hop off the tender just at the time the 1.5 hour around the island double decker bus was preparing to leave. So glad we did. A beautiful little island tour of the countryside, multiple older villages, cows, sheep, alpacas (5 only on the island and the guide new all their names) and such for a previously very popular vacation spot from Glasgow for the rich and famous.
Beautiful countryside, rolling hills, thrilling narrow roads and perfect views for many miles across various waters. Only complaint; would have been nice to let us off for photos in a few places even if just for 3-5 minutes.

A Pleasant surprise

what a surprise, an excellent open bus tour.
90 minutes long and so informative.
Iain was our driver/guide for the day, and was so charming and knowledgeable.
Even asked if we qualified for a concession fare.
which we did, that was very much appreciated.
The tour was through parts of Bute that you would not even consider.
This was an eye opener, and showed off the isle beautiful landscape.
I would definitely recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

Our first of many future visits to Bute

Having recently moved to a location on the Cowal, we were keen to explore the area and a trip to Bute was high on the list.
We arrived at lunchtime and after a light meal chose to take the Bus tour with Driver
IAIN, what a great experience, a really excellent tour with interesting, knowledgable commentary from a friendly driver and guide.
Iain made the 1 1/2 hour tour round the island a fascinating look at a wonderful landscape with a fascinating history.
We spotted many places that we will return to especially Mount Stewart, though the numerous beaches will also be on the list.
