Outstanding landscapes

The beach is not always accessible due to rock falls etc but the landscape and scenery above and beyond is absolutely stunning. It's quite remote but can be reached from a few points You also may walk past this area if walking the coast path. The paths can be steep and stengerous but the views are outstanding.

Good beach but access steps damaged right now

Walked down from the site we were staying and it's a great spot. Access steps were destroyed by storms so we didn't brave clambering over rocks although others did. Looked lovely anyway

The beach is currently inaccessible

A beautiful setting but you can’t reach the beach at present as the bottom half of the wooden steps is missing. The top half just hangs in midair!! I don’t know when it will be fixed.

Beautiful view but CLOSED

Lovely walk from Morte Hoe. Stunning scenery. However steps down to Beach aren't complete and beach part not accessible safely. So ended up walking back to Morte Hoe for a cream tea instead!

A lovely stroll from Morthoe around the headland. Stunning views & not too difficult terrain. A nice picnic place

stunning views lovely walks and if you go far enough you will be lucky enough to see seals we did in there natural habitat not in captivity just the way it should be

Such a gem! Not crowed, a pleasant walk to get there and steps to die for! Lovely rock pools and sandy beach when tide out.

Fabulous looking shingle beach but closed!

Staying in North Devon this was one of the few beaches which allow dogs in the summer months. And it looks a great beach with rock pools etc. However, there is absolutely no doubt that the beach is closed - lots of "danger" and "closed" signs which we saw people limbo dancing under! Each to their own I suppose, but if they got into trouble they would presumably put other lives at risk.
I would ask the responsible authorities to make the beach safe asap - it really is very picturesque and therefore very tempting!

This is part of the coastal walk from Woolacombe to Ilfracombe via Lee. Awalk well woth doing with beautiful scenery

Steep steps

As said, its a steep walk down. The "closed" sign relates to rockslides not the access itself so it seems.
People were on the beach when I went there and the steps are all pretty new.

The beach is very scenic and there is a little sand exposed towards low tide. I'd recommend having a look and coming back to swim if you are going to later on so you can swim a rock free channel.
