This is the most laid back dog friendly,small kids and bicyclist community. And some great restaurants and of course a great wine tasting room.

Searching for a variety of wine I am very unsure about, the lady behind the counter gave me great advice for a birthday gift for my sister. She was very knowledgeable, made me up some tasting samples so I knew what I was getting. Nice amount of variety and inventory, they also offer wine tastings with some food items. Perfect place to gather with friends, especially during porch weather.
They helped me find a wine I liked, even though I tend to not like wines at all. They took it as a challenge and helped me find something delicious.
This location is tucked away at the back of a building but it's worth discovering.
You can bring your own tacos fro next door and sit by the cozy fire or sit on their cute porch.

We stopped into the Tasting Room the other Saturday early evening to kick-off the night with a sip of wine. We ended up buying a bottle (pricing is reasonable) and sat by the fire for two hours of fun conversation.
The Tasting Room ought to be more crowded and popular than it is. There was a stream of customers during our two hours - but it never felt full or even close to full. We left at 8:15 PM and there were just a few regulars sitting at the bar.
No food is one challenge for the Tasting Room (TR...get it?). Otherwise the atmosphere is pleasingly relaxed and comfortable and many brought their young ones and dogs in with them. It all works.

Perfect relaxed setting to try interesting wines (inexpensive wine flights) or craft beers (on tap, and flights available). Owner Evan Rutter is a master sommelier with expert wine knowledge and friendly, open approach. Unusual selection of retail wines available at wide range of price points. Outdoor deck provides a pleasant experience in good weather. Handy to the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Love this place!! Superb selections and attentive, courteous staff. They have different wines available by the glass at different times and always have great suggestions for new wines to try. If you want a bite, they have a few meat & cheese options to enjoy at the shop or to-go.

No tvs which was GREAT meet Alex at the bar who was a wealth of knowledge to us from Virginia who are looking to move here. She is also a CPA in town! She told us where to eat etc. Thanks Alex and we hope to see you again in town.

Wonderful selection of wine. Owner is very knowledgeable and takes the time to help you find what you like. Nice atmosphere to hangout with friends or couple.

Tucked away behind a cute, regional-products shop in the quaint town of Traveller’s Rest, SC, is a gem of a wine shop. The surprisingly spacious shop caters to people who want really good wine, but also want something a little different. If you are not familiar with wine or craft beer, this is a great spot to come in and try a flight of either. The flights of wine ($12) are served in about 3-oz pours, with three selections from the current list. The flights of beers ($8) provides four samples of the current draughts in generous pours. There are fun barrel tables, but there is also a comfortable and cozy couch area in a second room that can be rented out for special events.
The owner, Evan, and his staff are passionate about food wine and beer, and try to offer up labels that are not going to be for sale at Total Wine and other larger stores. There are alternate varieties, smaller regions, or boutique wines from the more famous places. While you can get the staples like Silver Oak, you can find a surprisingly nice bottle from Allecante, Spain, or an eco-friendly organic wine aged in concrete. I would recommend that you appoint a DD, head down and try a couple of flights. We found this a perfect afternoon activity after hiking at a nearby waterfall, but would be great before or after any activity.

We had a great time with good friends. If you are looking for a place for unique beer- Bozo beer brewed by Evil Twin brewery is a Big Flavor beer. The servers are great- if you are in the area- it is a must try.
