The whole downtown Greenville is awesome great restaurants,shops a friendly vibe throughout. A fantastic Farmers market on Saturday mornings friendly people friendly and proactive policing to make you feel safe

Favorite festival in Greenville

Best Festival that the city of Greenville hosts. Amazing art and exhibits. Good food and drink selections throughout.

This is a fantastic venue, lots of participation from a variety of artists all over our great country. While some are a bit high, you can understand that but some are just above what people here are willing to pay here; there can be really good bargains if you know how to shop for them. It's outdoors along the main street of downtown Greenville which makes for a perfect outing. All though it would be nice to see more of the small business' open as well during this event, many are not, that's a downside.

Over a thousand artists from around the state, the States and even other countries apply to exhibit. Only about a hundred are chosen. Main St. is closed to traffic and art patrons and everyday people get to stroll, looking at and buying art directly from artists.

This premiere event gets better every year and the diversity of the art selection provides items for every taste and budget. The entertainment and food offerings are the icing on the cake!!!!

I hadn't been to Greensville in a very long time! I saw info about this festival on Facebook and decided it was time for a short road trip. This is a great arts festival! Lots of talented vendors, demos, food!!
I had a wonderful time!

I’m a local and always enjoy Artisphere tremendously. I did this year as well, with one exception.

I’m not sure if there was a time that the booths were going to close on Friday evening, but a friend and I walked up to a jewelry booth close to 8 pm. Loved the jewelry, noticed the artist was located in Charleston and asked if she had a studio there. She said she was in the Market.
Charleston market isn’t small. I asked if it was a permanent booth or not. She told me that she was in Greenville all weekend. I asked again about where in the Market and she repeated that she was in Greenville all weekend, but closed right now for me to come back tomorrow.

Seriously, she had no clue why I was asking about her Charleston location. She also had no clue if I was planning to purchase from her or not! After that reception I don’t think I would purchase from her, unfortunately.

Everything and everyone else connected to this event was amazing as usual!

Who can afford?

This was our 4th year to visit Artisphere. I was disappointed. Everything is so over priced that I’m not sure who can afford these works of art. Four years ago it seems to be in our grasp. It is no longer in our grasp. Over priced. I love Greenville and all it has to offer, but the feel has been lost due to the hype.

2019 is the 15th year of artisphere. Been many times. Rain or shine. Many great artists locally and from afar. They just keep getting better. Right down main street. Plenty of restaurants and shops along the route. Peace center and ready falls good place to stop for a rest. Plenty of entertainment along the way. FREE TOO! Whether you appreciate art or not its as great day.
