Dark Corner Distillery on Main Street in Greenville is a good place to go for local craft drinks and beverages. I like all of the different options that they have available for tasting and purchases and the way everything is organized and set up. The staff here is very welcoming and works hard to make sure that you can try everything and get what you need. This place is well worth a visit.

Enjoyed a stop inside this place which is a very nice space with lots of room inside. They make their own whiskey and offer tastings and have a variety of products for sale. The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining the options and giving suggestions. I am not usually a whiskey drinker but they had flavored options which were very nice. I got a butterscotch Whiskey Girl to use for Irish Creme coffees and have already used if at home! Fun place to stop while visiting.

Delicious alcohol and great service. Highly recommend this place for an easy stop and a quick drink before dinner.

Unfortunately we came on a day when they were sold out of their normal whiskies, but we tried their rums, gins and flavored whisky. For $10, you can try 6 flavors. My husband and I tried different ones, so we would be sure to try almost everything. We ended up buying some regular gin and hope to go back to try the whisky. Nice guy who did the pouring. Great location on Main St.

It may be a sort of "touristy" thing to do, but I'm a local and actually really enjoy doing the tastings at Dark Corner.
I've done this tasting many times over the past few years, as it's become one of the places I love to take a guest from out of town as part of the introduction to downtown Greenville.
It's fun to do the tasting of different whiskey's, rum, and gin. They also have fun cocktails, and the bartenders are very personable and knowledgeable. I've bought a few bottles as gifts over the years and they've always been well-received.
The tour is cheap and doesn't take long. It's a great way to start off a fun walk through downtown.

For $10 you can do a tasting of 6 different options with a collectible shot glass. The space is beautiful and open. We walked in and sampled a few things before we finalized our purchases.
We ended up buying the espresso and the spiced rum fill size bottles and then got 4 if the small bottles of the vodka, the apple maple, butterscotch, and coconut.
Everything we tried was excellent, and we plan on going back and getting another full size addition or two to add to our collection when we are in the area.
This is definitely worth the stop.

We wandered in on a cold day and did a little tasting. The staff are friendly, helpful and generous. We did the 6 tasters and one of the guys came around with a personal mix of liquors that was actually better than any of the individuals we tried. Fun way to warm up on a cold day.

Dropped in after walking around town for a tasting. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but wanted to give it a go. The tasting gets you six to try & a souvenier glass for $10. I had downloaded a coupon the night before to get 10% off the tasting. Matt was behind the bar & was so nice and so knowledgeable! I was the only one there, so Matt spent time explaining about the different whiskeys, rum & moonshine. Also gave me some ideas on using the spirits in different recipes. Loved the butterscotch and the apple flavors & bought a bottle of each. It was a great way to spend a little time doing something different!! I recommend!!

Great service, but the alcohol leaves much to be desired. An addition of mixers would set it to the next level.

Found this place when we were walking and popped in. Was fun to learn about the different spirits. While many of their moonshine, whiskey and rum are flavored and sweet, we did find a couple we liked. Bartender was great and educated us. Was a nice break from a traditional bar.

No Fee at the Main Street location since its basically a place to buy product, see the process and learn about some historical references. Samples are available for a nominal fee!

I have a family of 7. Can your tour accommodate all of us together at Embassy Suites Golf Resort? Will you pick up and drop off at my hotel?

They do not have shuttle service to and from hotels. This is a walk up storefront, distillery , and gift shop. They can accommodate your size group but you will have to drive to downtown or take a cab or bus.

They are across the street from the Hyatt. They are open 12 noon to 6pm every day except Sunday. They will stay open a little longer unannounced when there is something big going on downtown.
Does it cost to sample?
It is $4 to do the tasting. You get to try 6 different products and take home your shot glass! Hope to see you soon-Roxy
