“Taking action on an accessibility issue and going beyond the call of duty”

Our sincere thanks to Lindsey for being proactive regarding accessibility. After being informed that our view from our wheelchair seats were totally obstructed when everyone stood up (which was the entire concert) she is making other arrangements for patrons assigned to those seats for the upcoming Steve Miller Band. We just bought our tickets for Lee Brice and were able to make sure we would be able to see. It’s so refreshing for someone to take action and then take it a step further Thank you

World class venue for seeing any type of show / concert. We saw 3 events here this summer: The plays - "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Wicked" along with a Lady Antebellum concert, all three were delightful. The lighting, sound and seating situations were all outstanding. You owe it to yourself to enjoy a show here.

See wicked!!!!

First time seeing Wicked, and it was amazing. Cast was fantastic. Plenty of parking nearby for a lower cost. Go up to Washington Street and the parking garage is $7 for all day.

Great theater expereance

I've seen the symphony and a couple of shows there. Every time I go the people working genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves. It's in a really good area and it's great to walk around and explore after.

Horrible acoustics

Loud is not necessarily good. In fact horrible acoustics. I’ve had seats in the front row and the balcony. All equally bad acoustically. I felt I left with ear damage and yet all my friends agreed we were unable to understand the words in the songs ( Six).
It seems like no one wants to admit how bad the sound is since there are no alternatives for large music events in western SC.

Comfortable and great theatre experience. Came to see "Come From Away" with a group of senior citizens. Excellent experience.

Brandi Calile concert: first balcony seats- very comfortable. Excellent acoustics. Nice folks helping with seating and directions.

Beautiful facility. Friendly workers. Very enjoyable show (Life and Times of the Temptations). Lovely summer evening weather. Arrive about 1/2 hour before the start of your show that you can hit the restroom and get comfortably seated.

Lovely center...

I've been to this place for literal decades. I saw my first real play here and it showed me the beauty of plays, musicals, etc. it's a very nice center with wonderful shows and experiences...

Ensure you're aware of dress codes and the times when you're allowed drinks/food/breaks/parking before coming in. The staff is generally pleasant with the regular southern attitude. Beware of other guests and their judgmental attitudes though LOL...

As always, fairly priced (sometimes way overpriced), great entertainment, plenty of things for children!

The Peace Center is a gem. Beautiful inside and out. Please take the time to get to your event early so you can explore the area. The Peace Center is within walking distance to Falls Park on the Reedy, many restaurants and parking nearby.
