First, getting accessible tickets was simple. Getting a free accessible parking space (with proof of blue badge) also simple.
The match programme was only £4.
Getting into the grounds- easy. The Accessible entrance is easy to get to, well marked, and you are immediately met by a "Disability Liaison Steward" who processes your tickets and gets you to your seat.
First, tho, as I had not been there before, I was shown the location of the "Accessible concourse" with accessible loos, changing rooms toilet, sensory room, and the accessible food stand that was designed for all kinds of access needs. Stunning! And it was around the corner from our seats!
Our seats were great! Right on the corner, and it felt like we were in the action. Well, for the first half as in the second half the away team never really went to close to our goal... but we didn't mind!
I wanted a scarf, so the Disability Steward cheerfully went to get it for me... he was so happy just to help! Rick, you are a gem!
Food and drink prices were what you expect, but the queues weren't bad at all.
Everything was immaculate, plenty of room, the seating was good, the access was perfect, the lady from the accessible tickets office was friendly and helpful, the stewards and security couldn't do enough to help... everywhere there were signs reminding us that not all disabilities were visible. Mine is, but my hubby's isn't... it made him a lot more comfortable using the accessible loos.
And we won. How much better could the day be? Of course, football fans can shout a few naughty words, but, everyone was friendly and well behaved. Saw a Baggies fan helping a lady in Canary colours by pushing her wheelchair down to her stand. How lovely!
A great day out, no obstacles to a good time!

West Bromwich Albion have played at The Hawthorns since 1900
Since then the Club have won the League Championship, the League Cup and the F.A. Cup 3 times, along with playing European football.
The stadium has hosted England, England Women's and F.A. Cup semi-final matches, along with many non-football events such as floodlit cricket and music concerts.
It is known to be the highest league ground in England, and if you were to travel in an easterly direction you could travel in a straight line and not touch the ground until you reached the Ural Mountains in Russia!
The ground is just off the M5 motorway and has it's own railway station and Metro station - The Hawthorns stations.
One of the finest sporting statues in Britain stands outside the main entrance, a bronze work depicting club record holder Tony Brown in action against Valencia in the 1978 UEFA Cup. The Astle Gates, in homage to Jeff Astle, the "King Of The Hawthorns" are at the main car park entrance.
There is also a memorial garden at the perimeter of the East Stand car park.
The Hawthorns is one of the best mid-sized stadiums that you would find anywhere, and a match day experience is well worth taking in. In addition to the stands, there is award winning corporate hospitality and the ground also hosts weddings and other similar events. Stadium tours are available.

Plymouth -> West Bromwich! Started the day by finding some street parking within a 5-minute walk from the ground which was a great start to the day. When we approached the ground the stadium looked fresh and modern from the outside. We asked a steward outside the ground who said there was not a lot around the ground but found a pub in a 20-minute walk away which was very nice. We got into the ground very quickly and found our seats easily. The away end is placed behind the goal on the righthand side. The quality of the ground was very good and quite big which they filled. The atmosphere was not bad. Recommend this ground, will be going again!

We went up to WBA Football Club to watch our local team Aldershot play in the FA Cup on Sunday January 7th. Unfortunately Aldershot lost 4-1 but the 5000+ fans who made the trip up celebrated on mass at the teams excellent achievement.
We parked near to the Hawthorn's in a very packed car park for just £10 booked in advance. The walk to the Hawthorne's ground can be a little precarious as you do have to cross over some very busy sections of road. Entry to the ground was easy and efficient. I would say that for a Premiership and now a Championship side the Hawthorn's ground was smaller than I had thought it would be. Its capacity is only 28,688 which is quite limiting. Being a Gunners fan myself I am used to a big stadium with a capacity over 60,704 . However I really do enjoy supporting our local Non-league side when I can. At WBA the away supporters end (Aldershot Town) was really buzzing and the atmosphere in this section was just simply superb. Half time saw very lengthy queues to the food stand outside the rear of the away supporters end. By the time we had reached the front there was no burgers left and all that was for sale was chips and these turned out to be really cold!!! Anyway the treatment and staff at WBA were really good and we all had an enjoyable day even though the Shots lost.

I'm a season ticket holder. I attended Hawthorns for many times. The match was fun and worth going to if you're a baggies fan.
The staff at the venue was OK. I didn't really speak to them that much as some of them seemed not approachable.
One staff member at the gate was a nice chap. He always smiles and makes us feel welcome.
The food and drinks were just basic. I'd advise avoiding getting a carling bottle as it tastes horrible. The price for a pint was £4.70. I'm not sure if it will remain sane or increase in the new season.

I was there as an away fan for a thoroughly-enjoyable West Bromwich Albion 1 Sunderland 2.
The stewards were very friendly & professional, and the organisation impeccable. After the match away fans have to walk down a path that leads in a few minutes to their coaches and then to the train/metro stations which are clearly signposted.
The ground itself is fine, with decent views of the pitch.
The match was pretty decent too :-)

Came here with my girlfriend and her son to watch Coventry play, they are West Brom fans, in what we hoped would be an exciting game, although both sides were poor. The food and drink concourse wasn’t very busy and getting in and out of the ground was straightforward. A great view with a good atmosphere. Would definitely come back next season.

Went to watch cardiff city play. For some reason which I am still not sure about was told that I could not take my flag into the game and would have to pick it up after the game .After watching the mighty bluebirds earn a well deserved draw , went with my children to pick up our flag , only to be told by at best incompetent stewards that they had lost the flag that they had promised me would be there after the game. Two of the stewards could not care less and just blanked us and walked away whilst the other two idiots could not offer any explanation on where our flag was , hopefully West bromich albion will get promoted so I will not have to go anywhere near this hell hole next year.

East stand. It is very family friendly but a few swears and some sign language swears too. But alas, it's football.

How long before the kick off do the players arrive at the stadium? is there a chance of getting a photo or a autograph?
Ditulis pada 25 November 2017
Yes there is. The players arrive about two hours before kickoff by coach, parking outside the players entrance which is situated in Halfords Lane.Hope this helps
