A great outdoor area but when the barmaid tells your kids to sit down when outside and they are causing no harm (not running around)and they are nowhere near any other customers I find this ridiculous especially when other children are not sat down. Kids not allowed inside and seems can't even get up from seat outside. If your a regular I guess different rules. Disappointed as a lovely pub but not so much the way children get treated outside.

Cracking night being entertained by Mark Jane and the fantastic band Dynamite - good selection of beers and Gins great atmosphere. Good attentive staff everyone had a great time..

We live very close to the pub and predominantly visit occasionally for the quiz night. It’s lovely inside and the pub is very welcoming. Recommend quiz night...£1 each which includes a hot snack such as chilli. Great fun. Staff very friendly.

We were really not impressed by the attitude of the barman. My friend and I left the Orchard Gardens when the barman chased after us down the road and accused us of stealing a glass! We told the barman that we had not stolen a glass, he then said 'are you sure'! We then had to tell him exactly where we had left our glasses to prove to him that we had not stolen one. Really disgusted in his behaviour. We do not get to go out much and incidents like this can really spoil your evening.

Have been in all the other pubs in NW over several years but only found the Orchard this visit. Best Pub by a mile nice and roomy good atmosphere, pool table, juke box and big beer garden, definitely the place to go.

Good atmosphere and good prices with lovely large grassed 'back garden' in which to relax. Nice staff.

The place is buzzing on a Saturday night when there’s a good group on, quick service at the bar and nice friendly staff.

A lovely local pub with music and merryment a plenty have some great bands on every Saturday our fave is Distant Sun well worth a look

Really enjoyed this place whilst on holiday with my son. Played darts and pool and went 3 evenings. Still stuck for words when told that the owner's policy is not to provide ice with any glass of water. This might encourage people " drinking for free". Of 12 drinks we ordered only 1 was a water!!
