“Poor”

Used to be a great Micro Pub. Unfortunately it is probably still the best real ale pub there is in North Walsham however, the main staffs and owners are less than welcoming. It is always cold, and if you dare complain about the beer being off then God help you. I know many a regular that no longer drinks there because of this and now myself. Much better when Richard and Sue ran it! Last Sunday ended having two beers and two ciders on. Do I need to say anymore? Apparently some disgruntled customers are trying to open their own real ale pub in town and I cannot wait.

Great venue

Met up with friends at this fantastic drinking hole. Some really good beers and ciders on offer. Hop In is a really nice place, friendly staff and fellow drinkers. Conversation easy as no music, televisions or Wi-Fi exists. Thanks Hop In👍

We had a drink here while we waited for a takeaway from elsewhere. Rest selection of beers and ciders. Sadly no gluten free ones at the time we visited, so I had a glass of really nice red wine. My companions were very pleased with the two ales they tasted.

Tasty drinks, cute place

We came accross this place on a walk through the town. It was small but lovely with a friendly bar man and tasty drinks at reasonable prices. Worth a visit.

What a great little place. Not a lot of room but the selection of ales is wonderful. Have been a couple of times now with a friend and each time I've said I not drinking so much this time wrong!!! Six pints later having gone nearly through the card it's an unsteady walk home.
Great beers nice atmosphere all in all a real ale paradise.

Started well but..........

When it started it was excellent and we were regular visitors. Beer variety excellent and prices a bit above average, but this was for real ale.
Our penultimate and then our last visits in May were a disappointment due to 'bar hangers' making it difficult to get served. The premises are very small and a group around the bar made the the situation worse. I appreciate that you can not tell paying customers what to do, but a little tact by staff/management asking for that are to be kept clear would pay dividends.

The establishment specialises in good quality real ales and ciders served straight from the barrel. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
