“Lovely woodland walk”

What a lovely walk we had here with our two Spaniels on our recent holiday to Norfolk. Lovely broad paths, clearly marked routes and free to park. Lots of other dog walkers all with their dogs off lead, and no trouble whatsoever. The marked routes are varying lengths and foolishly we chose the yellow route (the shortest 🙄) as we did not know how long it would take us to get round. We were all quite disappointed when we arrived back at our car after only 40 mins! 😂 Well worth a visit

“Lovely quiet walks”

Visited this place a couple of times to walk the dogs. Wide pathways, could be better waymarked. Nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches and seaside towns.

A lovely walk, recommended indeed.
A lovely place to visit for a morning or afternoon, plenty of parking, picnic tables as well if required. there's an option of three trails to choose from each trail has a different length so you can pick which one suits you best OR ignore the trail markers and pick your own route and wander about at your leisure. Even though we went at the height of the holiday season it wasn't very busy a all and its a lovely way to spend a few hours wandering about.

First family bike ride

On holiday in the area and son aged 5 just learnt to ride his bike so we took the opportunity to visit Bacton wood for our first ride together. A relatively easy and short ride for the little one with some nice features for them to explore along the way (and a geocache). A great intro ride to off-road cycling.

I’ve lived nearby all my life and always joy visiting here
I never use the main trails or park in the car park. Instead we park in the many spaces around the perimeter on the road and explore from there. You will find most locals so the same as us and I’d advise visitors do this too. Lovely and relaxing place

Beautiful woods
We visited on a very hot day but the woods provided lots of shade.

Gorgeous
Beautiful woods, a little short on parking space but parking was free and we were off season. Trails all neatly signposted and no rubbish or litter. Really enjoyed our visit.

Great place for a walk
We enjoyed a really relaxing walk around these woods while staying in Bacton. Lovely woods, free parking, very quiet and our dogs had a great time. Great walking routes well marked and easy to follow (take a photo of the map though before laving the car park just in case!)

Perfect for dog walking / jogging

Beautiful woodland, well maintained paths and free parking. There are a number of clearly marked routes you can follow and this location was perfect for a safe (away from traffic) morning run along with our four legged friend 🐶🐾. Recommended for anyone who's in the area and wants a nice, calm and tranquil place to walk amongst nature. Also bin facilities in the car park. Maintained by Forestry England.
