What a great little winery! My sister and and I were on a day trip to visit Chimney Bluffs, and noticed the signs for Thorpe Vineyard as we exited the park. We decided to go on a whim, and found the tasting experience, the attendant pouring, and the reds and rosé selections delightful. Neither of us are wine experts, but know what we enjoy. A bottle of Hunter’s Moon sweet red came home with me!

An intimate tasting room, with a pleasant and informative staff. We also got to meet the owner. We enjoyed the Lake Breeze white wine. A good place to stop if you are visiting Chimney Rock State park.

Stopped here on the way to Chimney Bluffs park. Cute little vineyard that also offered some local salsas, BBQ sauces, etc. If in the area, would most likely stop here again to spend a little more time to sample.

Angie was hour server when we visited. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and made conversation with us while we enjoyed our wines. When everybody reviewing says small, we mean small. There is one table with four chairs and a small bar. However, this is far off the beaten path so you may not experience the crowds you do when you visit the larger operations that are back to back along the other lakes. We were there early in the week and had no issues enjoying our wines. Yes, it is right down the street from the East Bay Parking Lot of Chimney Bluffs State Park. We left with a few bottles as we did enjoy our tastings. Angie was also helpful about other things to see in the area, as well as. local dining options. Fun Visit. Recommended.

This is near the entrance to the state park. Very small and quaint. Staff was super and the white wines were excellent. Definitely worth the trip especially if you are at the state park anyway

The smallest winery in this area. Our server was very knowledgeable of the wines. My favourite was the Hunters moon which is red wine. Tasting is 4.00 for 5 pours very reasonable.

Great tasting room, very friendly staff. The White Sangria was excellent. the Vidal wine is excellent. loved it....

This is a lovely and friendly small winery right down the street from Chimney Hill. Prices are good. The wine is well constructed.

I was there again this summer. I Love there wine Hunters Moon!! It is fantastic!! The owner knows everything about wine making! And talked to her many times and she is a very nice person
