Beautiful clean sandy beach. Great for those who like lots of fresh water waves and sand. Picnic pavilion, bathhouse, playground, snack bar and volleyball.

Beautiful clean sandy beach. Perfect for those who prefer plenty of fresh water waves. Bathhouse, picnic pavilion, snack bar, playground and beach volleyball. Fun for all age groups. Very enjoyable day at the beach.

We visited after schools had opened, the beach was almost empty. I can see how it is a big attraction.

We wanted some beach time in the evening after dinner, but by the time we got here (7pm), the restrooms had closed so we settled for a short walk. The lighthouse out in the pier was very pretty.

Spent less than 1 hour here in May. We walked about the beach and walked onto the breaker. There was plenty of parking and good bathrooms.

Nice park. There are some benches. There is a pier going out to the lighthouse. I use a scooter but was unable to go out there because of a few steps and it’s posted there is uneven pavement as well. You can fish off the pier. There are restrooms but closed after Labor Day perhaps? I did notice a Port A Potty tho. This lighthouse is closed but if you go into town they have the old one that’s a museum. We were able to catch it today before closing for the season.

Most people don't think of the beach during the heart of Winter BUT us with a Winter Anniversary get to see things during off seasons. the Lighthouse was hard to see from the Free parking area with the winter squall ~ we braved it and walked the whole breaker that the lighthouse was on.

Nice park with good sand and playground equipment for the kids.We were there at sunset which is a pleasant time to visit. I imagine one could spend a large part of a day here and find it most enjoyable.

Great little place to visit. Chances are you may have the place all to yourself if you visit in September. Quiet solitude and peaceful place to sit for a while and listen to the waves or read a book. Very scenic.

This is one of the nicest little beaches in Upstate NY. What other beach has sand, playground, shelter house, bathrooms, snack shop, life guards, Coast Guard and Sherrif's office within a 100 yd radius? The beach is clean and safe. What more could you ask for?
