Just simple pace but a good experience with some yummy food to finish. It's just a collection of small stores offering a variety of products from knock off handbags and hats to real handicrafts

We love this market in Seminyak, it does have a great vibe and you can snare a bargain if you're a good hagler. Pay a visit to the Diana store, they certainly offer the best deals. The cafe at the market is a great little bonus and has an awesome coming class. The guy that takes it is full of energy whose English is the best I've heard.

These markets are extensive and showcase an eclectic array of merchandise. There is so much variety that its mesmerising with souvenirs, giftware, artisan crafts, clothing, accessories, etc, etc. Outlets are both fixed prices and the haggling type. The street is lengthy and we only walked a short distance when it became evident that much on offer is repeated. Great atmosphere and vibe.

Had an amazing experience at the first clothes shop you come across when you walk in. Brought a dress and pants too. Guy was helpful and not too pushy! My husband wanted a hat further down and bargained for it but was dependent on my buying some harem pants. Deal didn’t go through but then Hubble went back to buy the hat and was told “wife was too fussy!!!” Hello my money, my taste and I have to wear it - bonus points for Hubble he told the seller to “stick it”!!

Please don't go there and please do not buy anything. We walked through and asked at a couple stands for some prices. They are ridiculously high for goods that can be bought exactly the same for 2pth of the price from AliExpress! Nothing in that market (or in any store leading to the market from the center at 'Corner House') is authentic. Everything is from AliExpress. Don't believe me? Use the product camera search function in the app.
We were trying very hard to find an authentic souvenir shop to buy gifts and to support a local craftsman /trade, but how we were met when asking about it, was beneath everything expected.
They got angry at us for not being stupid enough to be hassled and swindled.

We stopped past for about 10 minutes and then decided to go to the beach for sunset. By the time we returned most of the stalls had closed. The high pressure bargaining was exhausting. I bought some bags from one of the surrounding stalls and hubby didn’t want to do any more. Some of the linen items looked nice though. Didn’t get a chance to return.

Very rude and aggressive sellers. There were few shops just outside the flea market, in between the entrance and restaurant. I tried to bargain for a men singlet from one of those shops. The seller shouted once we left the shop for a cheap price and once I came back in his whole he told me F*** U. My partner told me not to mess with locals and we left. It ruined my trip. I saw lot of these flea market men get aggressive. We stayed near Kuta and we lost directions for our hotel as the way knew was one way, a guy said follow me I will guide you to your hotel ( 200 m away) from a street and pay me 5$.
Whole time we had everyone trying to scam us.
Cat calling in streets like poppys lane and quieter streets is so common.
This was my fourth country in this year after india, Singapore, Thailand. I would rate my experience in Indonesia the least. Half of the locals are warm and understand why tourism is important for this place and rest half is rude and aggressive, wants to scam you which is enough to ruin the experience. Also we had upset stomach in all 10 days even after taking precautions of water and no ice.
The prices of Bali have changed as well, I would prefer a backpacking Europe trip or a 4 star level Thailand experience in same.
Whole time we had everyone trying to scam us.

Good experience. They have beautiful items. We didn’t buy much as it’s a bit of work bargaining. Recommend great bargaining skills as the prices the retailers ask for can be quite steep. Also be prepared to be swamped with retailers trying to get you to purchase their items.
