Fun beach. Good cove. Water cold. Busy. Very busy. Lots of opportunities to buy drinks and merch. It’s a good time. But hot. Easy walk.

Beach in Sayulita and located in a much nicer cove However, keep in mind, there is a gang that operates the beach and charges $100 for parking cars or golf carts,$10 pesos to
Use the bathroom when originally said $5 pesos and once at the door they said they maid a mistake and it was $10 to use dirty unkept bathroom. $400 for umbrella and 3 lounge chairs and umbrella. Make sure to pay upfront. They originally said $300 pesos and then charged $400. We told them it wasn’t the agreement and then became aggressive towards us. Will never go here again as we felt threatened from this gang. To bad Mexico has these kind of people harassing tourist who support the Mexican economy.

There are a lot of sellers as well who will offer you stuff every 30 seconds.

I say we charge Mexican tourist to use bathrooms in countries they visit since Mexico seems to be the only place I have visited that charges to use a bathroom.

Beautiful day at the beach

We loved sitting by the rocks on this beach. It was just the right amount of people. It wasn’t as crowded as everyone said it would be. It was a hike to get here for sure. Bring your gym shoes.

Its a great beach to rest and have a good swim, it is a beach of free access and there also rent a combo of 2 chairs and a shade for 300 pesos

Beautiful quaint beach!

We enjoyed this somewhat quaint, scenic beach on then south end of town. An easy walk from our south side place but maybe a 10-min walk from center of town. Yes, there are vendors and a charge for chairs, but the beautiful view and small “cove-like” beach makes up for that.

Went to this beach a few times during our stay in Sayulita.
I was very disappointed with the setting I had heard so much about.
Getting there is an easy walk from town through the,you know, graveyard.
There was traffic, motorcycle, golf carts, taxis, concrete trucks, like any mode of transportation,
The beach is very small stretches perhaps 250 meters.
Swimming was choppy and the water was not clear.
There were no fish whatsoever to be seen, I’m guessing you would have to go to the rocks on either side.
The usual Mexican hustle of vendors and beach chairs is expected but not in such a quaint advertised spot.
So if you’re expecting “paradise “ this beach is certainly not it.

We visited this beach last week. I wasn't impressed. Too many vendor peddling lounge chairs, drinks, and junk.

I wasn't impressed with the water. It was murky and with a mostly lack of restrooms, I think that the water quality leaves a lot to be desired. Just my $.02.

Nice alternative to Playa Sayulita

If you are looking for a close beach that is a bit less hectic than the main Playa Sayulita this is your spot. Pretty easy to get to either walking or on a golf cart. Water was clearer than on the main beach--no runoff super close. I don't have small ones any longer but would not hesitate to bring them here. Well worth checking it out.

A great beach!

Highly recommend! We didn't make it to this beach until our last full day. Had I known how nice it was we would have made it there at least another day. The water is perfect for swimming. Umbrellas are available to rent for the day. There is drink and food service. Very good. I also had a foot massage that was amazing! If you are in Sayulita- make a point to spend at least one day!

This was a very nice beach and great for younger children without the heavy surf. It is definitely no longer a 'hidden gem'. There were plenty of people even during the off season. Loved the walk through the absolutely gorgeous cemetery.
